I have this shoe and the WR758. Both fit well, but this one isn\'t as stiff and is much more cushioned. Because of that, I like the 758 for long-distance walking, but this one for 2-3 milers and for general wear.

Great shoes! I bought these at the last minute to take with me on a trip to Disney World. (Thank you Zappos for such quick service!) I was hoping that they'd be comfortable enough to wear all day through the parks without much break-in time. They are fantastic. They were comfortable right out of the box; have the right amount of cushioning, plenty of room for my wider foot, great arch support and look good, too. Since coming back I've worn them for running on pavement and they are great for that as well. Couldn't be happier.

I got these runners for my new workout shoes after buying Pumas for years. They have a great support in the heel, which is where I need more support. They are very breathable which helps with them not smelling after working out, but not when walking in the rain! They are great shoes and will probably buy another pair when the time comes to get new workout shoes!

Great shoe. I wear an 11D and literally ordered about 10 shoes from Zappos searching for one with a big enough toe box. This shoe was the only one that didn\'t squeeze my toes together and felt comfortable upon first wearing them. I can\'t speak for the smaller sizes, but if you wear a large size and are searching for a wide toe box, definitely try this one out.

Very satisfied with these shoes. I bought them to replace my old New Balance shoes. My old ones have been discontinued and these are the closest to what my old shoes were like. Very comfortable. I am not a runner as this shoe states it is for, rather, I am a mother who got planter fasciitis with her pregnancy. My podiatrist recommended these shoes and they are awesome! Highly recommended. I put my orthotics in them as well and they work perfectly. They are attractive to look at as well.

This is my second pair of the New Balance WR1063. I love them! Great for walking and jogging. I went to a podiatrist several months back who suggested I try New Balance. They have helped my foot pain immensely! With stretching and wearing good shoes, I really don't have heel pain anymore. I will absolutely continue to stick with this brand.

I've tried many different running shoes and have had to return them. I need a high toe box, a small heel, neutral to supinating sole (opposite of over pronating) with a curved last. Think about it. Not too many of them out there. Over the years Saucony has provided me a few winners, but recently they haven't fit right (i.e., too wide forefoot, but not a high toe box). These New Balance provide everything I need along with support (for high arches) and cushioning (required for heels for people with high arches). They fit. Since Zappos, store to store shoe shopping is a thing of the past. Zappos has walked (pun intended!) the extra mile to provide multiviews and details galore for each item. So my dilemma of finding time to get to a store, trying on shoes (without knowing the details because major chain store employees don't know the details), buying them, taking them home, wearing them around (on carpet of course) and most often, making a trip back to the store to return them is a thing of the past. Zappos offers free shipping and free returns on shoes I can't even find in stores. I shop online, they arrive at my door, I wear them around. If they don't fit I go online, print a return shipping label, drop it off at UPS on the way home from work. Love these New Balance: Love Zappos.

Runs small & narrow - I have worn New Balance running shoes in the past and been happy, as I remember. But it's been a while. For the last few years I have worn mostly Asics. These NB were rated in a magazine, so I decided to give them a try and ordered my typical size: 8 regular. These shoes felt a full size smaller and very narrow compared to my Asics. They are attractive, though. And, as always, Zappos shipped them fast and free.

A little background: I love the look and attitude of skate shoes for everyday wear. But, I guess I have weird feet because it's very difficult to find some that will fit right and not kill my feet when trying to break them in. So, I gave up a few years ago and decided to give your standard cross trainer/running shoe a try. I grew up wearing shoes like these, though not nearly as advanced. The old school/retro version of NB for sale here at Zappos is closer. Anyway, I recognized the NB name, read some reviews, saw D width available, and decided to pick up a pair of the WT809s. It was absolute bliss. I never had to break them in. They just hugged my poor, tired feet from the very beginning and fit perfectly (I paid attention to the reviews that said to order 1/2 size larger than your usual size when ordering NBs; ignore this recommendation at your own peril). That pair lasted a year and a half, and I upgraded to the WT909s. Unfortunately, the 909s didn't make it a full year. I went for a really good brisk walk the other night to get some exercise and I got a nice blister on the ball of my foot right near my 2nd and 3rd toes. If I was going to stay on my exercise kick, it was time for a new pair of NBs. I'd almost settled on a different pair, but then these 1063s in Orange and Silver caught my eye. The description was even better, and it's right on the money. I put these on tonight to give them a try while running out to the laundry room a few times, and while I won't get silly and say it's like walking on a cloud, these shoes are super cushioned and very light. Again, no breaking in needed, and while walking around in my 909s earlier today kept rubbing that blister, I had no such trouble with the 1063s. It's almost as if the blister isn't even there! These shoes are amazing with the cushioning, the fit, the special laces that don't come untied with activity (I swear by this, and I will never go back to regular laces again), and the padding inside that helps with my slight underpronation (feet do not roll inward as much as they could). I am ecstatic. I love NB shoes and wear no other athletic shoe. Period. I have finicky feet that need a lot of cushioning, and the 1063s deliver.

Needed very stable shoes with major support for ankles after an ankle break and sprain. Amazing shoe so far. Very comfy, lots of support, hits below my ankle bone just perfectly. I will only use these for walking and standing and Tai Chi practice. The flatter bottom, for a running shoe, makes this shoe workable for my Tai Chi. I also like the weight of these shoes. Sizing: I wear an 8 D in these. Glad I was fitted properly at a store because I have very wide area in the front and had toe surgery and equated the need for a wider shoe and wide toe box for a 9 medium. So, these shoes not only look very cool, but don't make my feet look really big. Will stick with New Balance for my athletic shoes.

I have had a hard time finding shoes that fit well and last in the past, and this shoe fits the bill. I have wide feet, but narrow heels, and I\'ve found that the wide version gives me plenty of space in my foot without making me feel like I have clown shoes on. I don\'t feel like the cushioning breaks down very fast, so I am not replacing them every month like I have with other brands (I run about 25 miles a week). The heel isn\'t as elevated as other shoes, which can be a change if you like that pitched feel. Overall, this is my third pair of these, and I\'ve been happy every time.

My new perfect shoe! I've had a flare up of plantar fasciitis and in the past have always worn the Asics Kayano (at least until they sadly redesigned the shoe and the lacing pattern and it hurts and pulls like no other now). Anyway, this NB is a pretty shoe (love that purple blue color) and has a great neutral heel. My inserts fit into it great and I couldn't be more pleased with the fit and walk.

Made for under pronators, but not for me. I'm not a runner. I mostly walk, but like the lite weight design of running shoes. I have weak ankles, and a tendency to turn my ankle on uneven ground. So I decided to try shoes designed for under pronators. I ordered a half size up (since New Balance shoes run short), and I went for Wide, since the last pair I tried on was too snug across the toes. Unfortunately I felt they over compensated (angling my feet inward while standing) so I'm returning them.

I LOVE this shoe. I started out with the 1060 (made the change from another NB shoe) and have worked my way up in the past few years. They keep getting better and better. I hated giving up my 1062s UNTIL I put these on my feet. Perfect amount of cushioning for me - I'm ramping up, so my longer runs hit right at an hour now - and since I'm a terrible supinator, I really feel, and appreciate the support, it gives. I like the fact that this shoe breathes a bit so my feet don't get too tight, and for someone with narrower feet, I can tie the laces tightly enough which has been a problem with other shoes I've tried. If you've tried (and loved) the 1062, this will be a good choice.

My foot type is: Wide and completely flat (no arch at all) with a very narrow heel. This shoe is very true to size and accommodates orthotics perfectly. Some ppl may say it doesn't have enough arch support but for my foot this works great! With my foot I have 2 probs with this shoe: 1. Heel does not fit as snug as I'd like. 2. For some reason these are not very easy to run in. They are GREAT for standing 8 hours a day on cement which is the main reason I got them so happy w/ that but I am going to buy another pair as my runners...Also the toe box is great w/ plenty of room and for someone w/ bunions this shoe would be great because there is just the fabric in that spot. Overall certainly will buy again for a work shoe/standing for long periods shoe...only reason I gave overall 4 star is due to it not working for both standing and running but maybe that doesn't exist??

Great! I run a lot of miles a week, and I just couldn’t find the right shoe. I've been through Mizuno's and Asics, so now tried the New Balance WR1063's and I love them! They look great and fit great. I usually wear a size 9 but it was a tad big. By the way, I ordered these shoes on a Saturday and with the free shipping, they were here by Monday afternoon!! So I called to get an 8.5 size and they sent me the new size the next day!! They fit perfect. I sent off the bigger size back for free also. I would recommend these shoes to anyone & I would definitely recommend Zappos to anyone, it's the only place I shop for shoes! Thanks!

Just received these shoes. I ordered half size larger than normal and wide width. It's a winner! I have such a hard time finding comfy shoes. There is plenty of cushion on the soles and the toe box is wide enough. Also the shoe doesn't seem stiff, so should be good for me.

Love these. Been looking for a replacement for the Asics Nimbus 9 (version 10 has a crazy lace thing going on that stinks). Anyway, I tried Asics Kinetic, Saucony Triumph, Mizuno and on and on. These are the best ride yet.

A pricey bad decision - ...I have already changed the shoe laces to the regular ones that glide for easy access to take off and on. They don't slip, but hey...that feature was just not needed...They are comparable to other New Balance shoes I have purchased for less money...the only benefit to me was they came in a narrow...the purple color is really nice, they do look good!

Shoe lacks stamina - I was highly anticipating this shoe and after about a month of walking in them, it felt like I was walking on cardboard! The support and cushioning in the forefoot definitely did not last as long as this shoe should have. I am going to return them and get something a little sturdier. Very stylish shoe though!
