Suitable for a Mid-West winter! I bought these boots so that I cold take my pup on winter walks and the are up to the job. The primaloft interiors keep my toes toasty and the vibram soles take on frozen terrain with ease. New Balance does it again.

I love Zappos! My order came before something else I had ordered days before. I love these shoes, they are comfortable and warm. I wear them all day long at work, in a dog boarding kennel. I am not in a hurry to get them off at the end of the day!

I love these New Balance Snow shoes. They are amazingly stabilizing in the snow and ice. I will give them full star treatment because the fit and comfort are excellent. I do wish they would make a brown lined boot like these. They are not warm and need really warm socks! On the whole I am so happy I ordered them.
Brands I'd also recommend: Clarks and Keens

I love these boots. I bought them as a replacement for an old pair of Columbia brand snow boots. Compared to those, these are a nice weight. They feel nice and sturdy and I have room around my toes, in case I wanted to wear these with thick socks.

I love these boots. They are comfortable right out of the box. No breaking in needed. Very warm, good on ice and snow, superior traction. Easy on, and off. I have owned them for about a month, and worn them in all types of Michigan weather. I wear them at work, and I'm on my feet all day - they're the best shoe I have owned for work, and for outdoor activities! I highly recommend.

I've only worn them in the house so far, since they are really meant for very cold weather, but they feel lovely and are so much lighter than my other cold weather hiking boots. I always have good luck with NB, principally because they carry widths. A wonderful shoe company, carried by the best internet shoe retailer in the world, Zappos! NB tends to run small, so I usually size up oneand it's perfect.

I love these boots! I bought them last year in the grey/blue color while working at Mount Rainier National Park and I wore them pretty much every single day of the year! They are warm and waterproof (though if you wear them every day you will have to treat them after several months). The fit was perfect. I ordered the wide width and they fit like a dream. Now that I have had them for over a year the tread is wearing rather thin, so the soles could be better, but overall I am thrilled with the fit and quality of these boots.
