yep! comfy right out of the box, again a great shoe from NB. I ususally take out the flimsy shoe liner that comes with and replace with a sturdy sports liner ( no matter what tennis shoe I buy)
Brands I'd also recommend: asics

I have a very narrow foot (3A), and New Balance is usually the only shoe that works for me. This year\'s NB 1000-series model (what I usually wear) were very uncomfortable and disappointing. The 900 was a last-minute desperation move right before traveling to a tournament. Even though they\'re marked as B-width, an insert was enough to get them to work for me. The shoes are stable, supportive, and relatively light weight. I\'m not crazy about the not pink, but I would recommend the shoe.

I had bought the Asics court shoe for playing tennis before. It looked cool and was really comfortable, but the shoe was awful. There was a big hole all the way through the sole of my shoe after about 6mths, which is crazy. So I wanted to get a shoe that was comfortable and durable. I decided to try this shoe even though there weren't many reviews on it. I have to say, this shoe is great. I highly recommend it. I don't usually wear New Balance, but they have made a great tennis shoe. It feels really comfortable, offers way more support than the Asics ones, and are much more durable. Very worth the money. I play a lot of tennis, and these stand up to the test. Extra good with some Superfeet Insoles.

Love this shoe! I've been searching for a replacement for my K-Swiss and this is it! My foot is on the narrow side, especially the heel, but I need a wider toe box. This show fits the bill. Look of the shoe is OK (not crazy about the silver and pink), but I play a lot of tennis and need a good performing shoe. I would definitely buy this shoe again!

About New Balance
Since the days of selling arch supports to police officers and waiters, New Balance has been a brand concerned with meeting the needs of the everyday athlete. In pursuing this goal, they developed an "Endorsed By No One" philosophy, which holds that a superior product will sell itself better than any superstar athlete ever could. So sorry...Zappos did a great job, but the shoe is not what I needed. I ended up giving them to someone with a narrow foot.

I have wide feet and it is difficult to find sneakers for tennis. Most manufacturers don't make sneakers in wide widths. This is it! A great tennis sneaker. Very comfortable. I have been wearing New Balance for years.

I have a wide foot...in the toe area...and I have trouble finding shoes that are good-looking and comfortable. This shoe did not fit...I had to send it back. It is too narrow in the toe box, even when I ordered the wide size.

I always wear a size 8-wide in New Balance shoes, but these seemed just a little narrower. I'll just wear thinner socks and they should be fine, otherwise they are comfortable.

Attractive tennis shoe but narrow toe box - I take a wide (D) fitting and these are narrow - will return. The other shoe I ordered WC804 was a perfect width so if you have wider feet, avoid this one.

Good shoe - I'm enjoying playing in it. I like the laces that have notches in them so that they don't come untied. This is my first pair of New Balance tennis (played in Adidas before but seems that the shoes got more narrow or my foot expanded!). The only thing I would change is the style - it could be a little jazz-ier!
