I'm a New Balance fan! These are the worst pair of shoes I've bought. The quality is awful. The waffle on the bottom only lasted a few weeks before they broke off. For the price of these athletic shoes they should have lasted a several months. I guess I will be buying three pairs of athletic shoes this year, but, for the first time, I will be looking at another brand.

Unlike the previous reviewer, I think that these shoes are great! I haven't experienced the same quality defects that the previous reviewer noted and I have had my shoes for approximately 3 months already. Perhaps they got a "dud?" I find it difficult to find shoes in a wide width, and these shoes provide a great amount of comfort because of the mesh along the front and sides of the shoe. In fact, I'd say that the wide was almost too wide (which never happens, by the way!)! I will admit that I don't use these for rigorous exercise, more for errand running etc...but still, I think a great shoe and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase in other colors!

Tongue was not wide enough to cover my entire foot, even in the wide size. It seems that NB forgot to compensate the tongue's width for the wide size.
