These shoes were profiled as being for over pronators (as I am) and this did not prove to be true - they really made my feet hurt.

These shoes are great. I read the first review and had to write in. These are great for stability. The 1260 replaces the 1224 and 1226. Fans of the other shoes will be very happy.

I bought these shoes about a month ago to provide support and comfort during long weekend agility trials. I had no prior experience with New Balance, but I have now become a devoted fan. I have worn them almost every day since I purchased them for everything from walking my dogs on pavement, to hiking with them on wooded trails, to agility class and weekend trialing (with my girls), to nose work class (with my boy). I could not be happier. These have been a life saver for my back and have become my go to shoe even for just running errands.

This show feels as good as I read it would. I run marathons and so I put a lot of miles on my shoes (and feet) I also have wide fee and these provide the room without feeling sloppy. I do think they run big though. I ordered half size down - maybe because of the added width.

These are fantastic shoes! They are ideal for high impact aerobics and Zumba classes. There is good cushioning in the heel for a variety of pounding.

Great shoes! I had an older model of New Balance shoes, and this model was recommended to have a similar fit. I like the support and stability, and it's very comfortable for both walking and running. The toe is a bit more roomy (wider) than I expected, but it doesn't feel too big and the rest of the fit is perfect.

Comfortable fit, great for my daily runs. I overpronate and these have stability to keep things in balance. More than I usually spend on athletic shoes, but worth it since my legs and knees don't hurt when wearing these.

These shoes seem to run a little small. My big toe on the right foot is uncomfortable. Also, the arches feel like they're too far back -- not under my arches at their peak, but rather about an inch too far back. A note to NB if they're reading...I have been wearing Women's 12 and have recently 'grown into' a 13; and it seems all 13s fit more like I'm wearing a man's shoe (too high on the ankle, arches all wrong, too clunky) than like a woman's shoe, just in a longer size!

Like other New Balance shoes, the W1260 is comfortable and gives good support. I used them for Zumba and walking right out of the box, no break-in needed. Zappos delivered quickly.

I bought the New Balance W1260. I don't usually pay this much for a shoe, but in this case, it was worth it! Oh my gosh! These shoes are ridiculously comfortable! The front of the shoe is extra padded-feels like a pillow, but not unstable to walk on - just feels cushion-like. The whole foot bed is wonderfully padded and cushy. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Perfect! I wear an 11W and ordered an 11W. The fit was perfect, not tight at all. I bought them for everyday use: errands, shopping, and walking. Definitely worth the money.
Brands I'd also recommend: I used to buy Nike, but their quality, technology, and comfort cannot compare to New Balance. Now, I only buy New Balance.

Shoes are awesome! I have had heel pain in the past and haven't been able to jump rope or be on my feet all day (I'm a personal trainer). These shoes have eliminated those issues. Hooray! I plan to get a second pair.

This shoe is perfect for me. I have a long narrow feet, and I have flat feet and use an OTC orthotic insert that is accommodated perfectly. I'm on my feet all day, and these shoes are supportive and comfortable. I also have another pair of NB shoes for only running, also with an orthotic insert. Love the shoe!

Since 1988 I have purchased a new pair of New Balance running shoes every year. I have been purchasing the 1260 for several years. What more can I say? New Balance is a great fit for me, has great support and my purchasing history says it all!
