I work on swimming pools for a living, so my feet are always exposed to wet conditions. For this purpose, these shoes are great. They are lightweight, comfortable, stylish, and dry quickly when I get them wet. \r\nI didn\'t really like the "quick lace" feature on this shoe at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly because it works well.\r\nI would recommend this shoe.

So, I went to REI and was after some water shoes that I could wear while scrambling wet rocks along the beach south of Corona Del Mar. I usually just wear a pair of Nike running shoes and they work great, but thought water shoes would be a better idea (mold/mildew prevention, water drainage, etc.). Guy at REI said "You have to try these shoes, they get great reviews." Well, they didn't have my size so I ordered from Zappos. Wore them the next weekend out on the rocks. Absolutely horrible from a surface stickage standpoint. These shoes have barely any lug material on the bottom and are horrible for wet rock scrambling. They would be perfect if you were on the deck of a boat. The rubber compound just doesn't work well on rocks. These were actually unsafe on wet rocks. Called Zappos afterwards and they were awesome. Said other customers have complained about this too (where are those reviews?). Zappos took them back even after being worn and refunded my money. Run away from these shoes, but stick with Zappos!

I wanted a shoe that would hold up in wet conditions and this is it. Ran in the pouring rain and through standing water and the shoes drained quickly. Although the speed lacing system took some getting used to, it does work and provides a comfortable fit. Also, very cool looking...

As a life-long New Balance wearer I was dismayed to find how cheap and plastic-like these shoes feel. They also were a bit smaller than previous 11.5 2E's that I have owned. I wouldn't recommend.

Great sneaker, comfortable and very light. I like the easy lace system but the only down fall for me was the tread. The tread is to slick, I use them for biking, and I was expecting more tread. Still, a quality product from NB. Good luck!

Love these shoes! Very comfortable from the get go, no blisters, and even comfortable without socks. Wore them out in a rainstorm, and sure enough, they drained right out. Highly recommend these shoes!

I bought these sneakers for my son, but they were too small. He unfortunately wears a 15D normally and these don't go up to 16. We have to return them and find something else from New Balance. Normally New Balance runs true to size.

Little larger looking than expected -
Good overall shoe that feels different than other shoes, in that, the soles are easily removable and feel like wearing a sandal. Nice air flow vents which keep the material very breathable and dry. The shoe is a little fatter than expected and the laces are a pinch and pull device which is different than conventional laces, but somewhat cooler and faster/easier. I am satisfied with this shoe and would recommend this NB to all. Have gotten a lot of compliments on shoe, which is only a few wks old.

Ready to get my feet wet -
I wear a size 8d in all of my previous pairs of New Balance shoes and these NB 920's fit perfectly in length and width as always. I have normal arches and these shoes have great arch support as well. I plan on doing a lot of hiking, boating and any other activity that will get my feet wet and I'm so glad that new balance finally made a shoe to accommodate my needs. I only wished they had more colors to offer. I bought the black/ orange ones and the picture(s) described on this site are accurate. I love the lacing system too. If you don't care for it, you can cut them off and put your own on, that's up to you.

Very comfortable shoe. Not the best looking shoe and would prefer regular laces to the speed lace system but am quite pleased overall. Love the low profile heel and sole. More stable on uneven terrain. Superb service by Zappos. Received the next day.

Another great shoe by New Balance - I'm a counselor at a lakeside camp and needed shoes that could be used for all kinds of outdoor activities AND wouldn't get ruined in the lake. These were the perfect solution. They are incredibly comfortable, great looking (I got the black w/gold trim), and will undoubtedly last a long time. Also, I'd just like to say that I ordered these shoes after work on a Wednesday night and had them on my front door the very next day. Unbelievable Zappos, you guys are amazing!

So far pretty awesome - I really enjoy the shoes. I have been wearing them a couple days a week for three weeks now. They fit right out of the box. The look of the shoes is nice and consistent with what you see on the web site – my pair is mainly black with orange trim. The shoes arrived in two days at no additional cost to me, which was a bonus. I plan to wear these shoes wade fishing on the coast but right now they are way too nice for those chores.

Looks good, not for hardcore workouts though...
The shoe looks great online but the actual product is mediocre at best. I purchased a double wide (EE) size but was thoroughly disappointed that the shoe was not true to size. I purchased the shoes three weeks ago and I still have them in my shoe widening device. I thought I wouldn't have a problem ordering online since I've worn New Balance EE for many years but I was wrong. Perhaps the problem is due to the speed lace (versus flat lace) since it doesn't allow the lace towards the front of the shoe to be looser than the area closer to the ankle.

Great Shoe For Outdoor Experimentation!
I bought these for my husband for our honeymoon to Costa Rica these shoes really took the cake. The sole is awesome- there was virtually no slipping on our outdoor hikes and when they got wet they dried faster than anything...seriously a fantastic shoe… oh and Zappos...nothing beats you guys!

Awesome outdoor rain shoe. Excellent for wet weather trail marching and paths through small streams. If you need be in the good this is the shoe for you.
