Hubby says they are "fine." I think he wished another color was available.

When I first wore these, they were much like a new pair of tires, a bit stiff. After about 2 weeks, they are excellent. Very comfortable to wear for my cross training...weight lifting, stretching, aerobics. Also received lots of compliments on the styling.

Sole of shoe is more a florescent green than yellow as it appears in the picture. My only complaint.

Decent enough shoe which I use solely for indoor workouts on an elliptical and with free weights. The only complaint is the insoles, which have to be the cheapest and flimsiest I've seen in some time. No arch support whatsoever, just flat, ultra thin foam of dubious quality. Something of a disappointment. I've been a NB customer for decades and this was a surprise. Shoes fit fine now that I added new, supportive insoles.

I've had many other New Balance shoes and they all fit and wore very well. This one though ran much smaller than others I've had. Where I usually wear a 9.5 D width, I would have needed at least a 10 E with this model.

About New Balance
Since the days of selling arch supports to police officers and waiters, New Balance has been a brand concerned with meeting the needs of the everyday athlete. In pursuing this goal, they developed an "Endorsed By No One" philosophy, which holds that a superior product will sell itself better than any superstar athlete ever could. Part of producing New Balance shoes and athletic clothing is manufacturing it to fit all widths and sizes, because a better fit produces better performance.
To ensure the best fitting, best performing shoes and clothes, New Balance focuses on improving their technology and production methods. A big part of that is maintaining five manufacturing facilities here in the United States where they continue to produce New Balance shoes and apparel that meet the standards they've employed for 100 years. They have also remained committed to a core set of values that include integrity, teamwork and total customer satisfaction.

I bought these, did a couple of miles on the treadmill, and now I am returning them. They just seemed a tad undersized. Looking at the shoes from the front, the profile seems squashed. The instep is too flat. The sides of the forefoot should be at least a little vertical to allow more room. I have owned several pair of New Balances and I love the brand but this is the first time that I have ever been disappointed. Also, in my opinion they do not meet the price point. They feel more like stiff cheap shoes.
