Other than the fact that the shoes run a little narrow (I had to order 4E, which was a first), I rate them perfect. They have an unusually flat inner sole that will appeal to some people. I find this offers better balance and comfort than classic running or walking shoes. Great shoes.

Buyer beware! You wouldn't know it from looking at the shoe from the picture, but the heel is lower than the rest of the shoe. This causes your weight to be transferred to your heels where there is little between you and the road. After wearing these shoes, if you have painful heels, you have been warned.

These look perfect. Trouble is that you shipped size 7 instead of size 12.5 ordered, so I will have to return the sneakers and start over again!

I bought these for my husband. He is extremely picky about his sneakers. These fit him well and were true to size. That is very important when you wear a 4E width.

I purchased the Grey 4E width shoe and was extremely happy with the fit and feel of the shoe. Unfortunately 60 days later the shoe started to fall apart. The right shoe lost one of the fabric loops that the lace goes through, and the left shoe lace pulled through the leather eyelet. I loved the feel of this shoe when I bought it, but the quality of the product was not up to my past experience with New Balance.

Zappos is great, ordered my last several pair of shoes -- golf and running from the site and receive them the next day. No more shoe stores for me.
I'd also recommend: Last six pair of athletic shoes have been New Balance

I have two knee replacements, and I purchased these shoes mainly for cushioning. I walk as much as my new knees allow, and unfortunately these shoes do not provide the cushioning I was looking for. I still lift and ride the stationary bike, and these are serviceable for that, but not much more.
