Buyer beware! You wouldn't know it from looking at the shoe from the picture, but the heel is lower than the rest of the shoe. This causes your weight to be transferred to your heels where there is little between you and the road. After wearing these shoes, if you have painful heels, you have been warned.

I purchased these shoes and wound up returning them. They ran a little narrow, and the soles did not feel even. There was a "lump" under my left foot and acceptable arch support, but the right sole felt flat and had no support.

Other than the fact that the shoes run a little narrow (I had to order 4E, which was a first), I rate them perfect. They have an unusually flat inner sole that will appeal to some people. I find this offers better balance and comfort than classic running or walking shoes. Great shoes.

These are my husbands favorite sneakers. They may not be the most styling but he likes them. Zappos always has what you want;cannot ask for better service. They are so prompt I can't believe it. Thanks!

These were a gift for my son. He has a hard time finding sneakers that are comfortable and that fit properly. He wears a size 16. He always finds New Balance to be the right sneaker for his needs. I'm happy they make his size. Price was great too. He loves them.
