Other than the fact that the shoes run a little narrow (I had to order 4E, which was a first), I rate them perfect. They have an unusually flat inner sole that will appeal to some people. I find this offers better balance and comfort than classic running or walking shoes. Great shoes.

Buyer beware! You wouldn't know it from looking at the shoe from the picture, but the heel is lower than the rest of the shoe. This causes your weight to be transferred to your heels where there is little between you and the road. After wearing these shoes, if you have painful heels, you have been warned.

I purchased these shoes and wound up returning them. They ran a little narrow, and the soles did not feel even. There was a "lump" under my left foot and acceptable arch support, but the right sole felt flat and had no support.

Another New Balance with no arch support. Inserts helped. Will make sure next shoes have better support.

What happened to QC at New Balance? I depend on NB because they have the best fit for me. I bought 2 pair of the version 2 model. The soles split at the heel end in less than 60 days of use. Thought that the new version might be better but my pair has adhesive flashing along almost all of the seams. The 2nd star is for finally getting the length of the laces correct.
