My husband is a size 14N and hates to shop. I know the New Balance fits him well as is comfortable. The ease in returning with Zappos is an added plus if something does not work out. The price on this shoe was similar to what I would pay locally with a special order. Thanks to Zappos for carrying the wide variety of sizes!

The shoes fit well (I have very narrow feet), however they are not good for walking or running, except perhaps on pavement. I live at the end of a 3-mile gravel road and bought the shoes to walk to regain muscle tone while I recover from two total knee replacements. I can feel every pebble through the soles of the shoes and the heel pads around the Achilles are not tall enough to give comfort when my heel strikes the ground. I would not buy another pair of New Balance and will return to Adidas.

Too soft and mushy for tennis. Real soft and comfy for bedroom slippers. And at that price, you think they were giving you air conditioning and automatic transmission. New Balance has other cross trainers for much less money, that would be a better choice.

I received a gift from a very good friend of mine but unfortunately the shoes was not my size (mistake from on friend's part) I then called customer service to correct the size, the customer service rep was very professional, and help was available promptly. They corrected the size and sent me a new pair which arrived very next day. I called customer service at 11:00 PM, central time and how the hell is it possible for the shoes to arrive next day at 2:00 PM? I do not care what I pay if the customer service is like this. It is of course expensive but it's worth it. These are the 3rd shoes I bought from Zappos and I am more than delighted to recommend Zappos.com for your next shoes.I love you, Zappos and this is first review I ever wrote for anyone because I am very surprised with the service and promptness.

I am disappointed in this shoe. It feels sloppy on my foot and doesn't have the support I was expecting it to have. My primary complaint is with the new "N Lock" system that New Balance is employing. The laces are attached to thin pieces of fabric that are stitched on the shoe. Within a couple weeks of buying these shoes, I tore the N-Lock straps out of the body of the shoe. Perhaps I pull my laces unusually tight, but this just seems like a bad design. I will try to avoid purchasing another pair of New Balance with this N-Lock system. I hope they are not going to use it on all their models from now on.

Zappos is a great service. They have a lot of items in stock. The delivery is usually next day, and it the shoe doesn\'t fit, they will send you another size without waiting for the return of the first pair. Usually, you can take care of everything online, but if you do have to call, the staff is friendly, they speak english, and they are helpful. My entire family uses Zappos.
Great shoe, but be careful! They are sized too large. I wear a 10.5 and when I received them, they were easily one size too large. So I ordered the 9.5 and they fit perfectly.

I like these shoes a lot. They're very comfortable, and slightly larger than most other size 15's I buy. They look good, and they feel light on my feet. I've had good luck with New Balance in the past, and that holds true with these shoes as well.

Extremely comfortable with decent support. Excellent for all day use, gym, and general athletic use. Good air circulation so feet never sweat, attractive in gray and white. This model is made in the USA. Had some problems finishing lacing it up in the top holes on both shoes; they were quite a bit smaller than the tips of the laces. I had to open the holes with a tool.

Good shoe. I like the style, comfort, and sizing. Support feels appropriate. My only complaint is that the laces seem a little long, but the twisted feature does keep them tied nicely.

New Balance seems to have changed their cross trainers. I teach high impact aerobics and have used their Xtrainers for years. Today I ordered a pair of ASICS and if those don't work out I guess I'll try Nike. These have no arch support, They are stiff and they don't have much cushioning. What else is there to say? These lack in every major way and I am actually for once, going to take advantage of Zappos great return policy. Very disappointed...

Comfortable for everything -
I am a bigger set guy (240lbs) and I found this shoe to be extremely comfortable for my working out, running, and training. It has enough mesh to breath and be flexible but it doesn't stretch out too much like some running shoes do. The shoe has both a gel and a foam cushion in the heel and forefoot which helps out a lot, especially for my knees when I am running. The laces stay tied and are awesome. I don't like that the lace holes are located on the inside because no matter how tight or lose the shoe fits, it always makes it look like the laces are tied close together. OVERALL: Great shoe and I recommend it to anyone who is doing anything.

Came when they said. Excellent shoe. Use it for light running to the gym, and then working out on weights, then walking home. Felt a little wider than I thought, but still very comfortable. Use ThorLo thick socks and it seems great. Shoe laces are "twisted", not seen that before but great at staying tied and tight.
