For walking shoes, I was expecting much more comfort, padding and stability. The hard RollBar in the sole makes you feel like you are going to tip forward. The side to side stability is lousy, even with the shoe laced very tightly. I usually buy the New Balance MX 623, which are very comfortable, padded and stable, but Zappos has been out of my size forever! So I needed shoes quickly and was forced to give these a try as the next best thing. I will not buy this model again. They are too expensive for what you get.

What a big mistake it was buying these, it is not Zappos' fault, it is New Balance's. I have worn 927's for four years. They are great, as they should be for such a high price. I cannot find these now in anything but limited sizes, so I tried the 928s. My feet are killing me, these 928s are cheap shoes that are being sold for a lot more.

NB quality is going downhill. I LOVED the 926's!! I had 6 pairs!! The 927's were a noticeable decrease in quality. One eyelet broke through in less than one month. The sole separated from the rest of the shoe in 3 months! It appears the 928 is heading the same way. The insole is worthless, Changed it out with a Spenco insole on day one. I have worn NB for 13 years, looks like it is time to change brands.

New Balance replaced the MW928 with the MW927. It is not even close to the same quality at all. II have bought several pair from you over the last 4 years so I know what I am talking about. Looks like there are a lot of good reviews but I doubt seriously many ever wore the MW927 model. These are just cheap quality shoes being sold at a high price. Don't buy them and maybe New Balance will bring back the quality we expect from them in a pricey shoe.

4th pair. Great shoe for comfort. I love the very wide size, and the support I get. I am a letter carrier and on my feet all day and at the end if the day with these shoes my feet are not tired at all. I have diabetes and found that with the 928's my feet have all the room to make them not squeezed together. Also the inside has no seam so it feels like I don't have a shoe on at all at times.
