As usual Zappos is wonderful - so fast the delivery. I bought these for my husband and he says they are the most comfortable pair of sneakers he has ever had. Highly recommend these and Zappos.

I like the 811s I purchased! They are a little tight, as I'm a 5E vs the shoe at 4E, but they are wearing in and all is well and I'm happy! What really impressed me was the service you provided. The 1st pair I ordered were definitely too small! So I called customer service and I experienced the best service in my life and I'm 61! The person opened by saying good morning, etc. I told them I needed to return the shoes and they totally unexpectedly told me that was no problem. They would send me a larger pair at no cost to me. That just doesn't happen anymore! And the person was very nice.

This is a decent-looking shoe, okay for a casual office. It is dressier than a regular sneaker, but can't pass for a dress shoe. It is extremely comfortable and light and is structured to give excellent support. The insole is very cushioned and the outsole guides the foot unobtrusively. The negatives: The sole slips on smooth surfaces like kitchen tile and the heel cup is a little loose when walking. When I wear it with short socks, the socks bunch up beneath the sole. Others have complained about the breathability of synthetic leather. It looks a little dorky with shorts in the summer, but otherwise it's a great everyday shoe.

My last purchase of a pair of 14EE work out shoes for my college student son. He finally has shoes that fit him comfortably. I am totally impressed with the service at Zappos. It is so appreciated and in this day and age unheard of. Please tell your friends and family to try Zappos. I ordered shoes with my son not realizing you could get a EE wide shoe. When they arrived I called and was told about all size options. The rep ordered the correct size and sent overnight and also emailed a return shipping label. It took me a couple weeks to return the first shoes. Sorry. I am always busy. I will be a loyal consumer to Zappos. Thanks.

Zappo's rate A-1 when it comes to service and merchandise! The New Balance shoes are total comfort, perfect fit and just what I had in mind, when ordering. And, they didn't even need a breaking in period, as some shoes do. This order was not my first with Zappos, and I will order from them again.

Found these shoes to be very confortable, almost like wearing slippers. Ordered a half size larger and fit is great. Style is good too. I work in a office in a factory, but I am on my feet and I have to walk the entire plant during the day. I would order these shoes again.

Great shoe for walking. Comfortable from dawn to dusk. Not the most stylish shoe, but sometimes comfort wins out. No need to break them in; you feel like you are walking on air. Zappos is great. I have ordered many times and I still am surprised when my shoes arrive so fast (usually the next day). Great prices, products and service.

My husband has had both hips replaced and was working out in some old, flat shoes that gave his feet no support. He wears a size 15, 2A shoe, so I checked New Balance and bought him a pair of MW811 shoes. Because of the support he gets from this design, his posture is much better, his workouts have improved drastically, and muscle stress and pain have disappeared.

First, Zappos is the real deal. Upgraded shipping for free and received overnight. Thanks Bryan and Amber! NB 811 is a solid walking shoe for exercise/fitness walkers. Third pair for me, but I always forget about the "break in". They are on the heavy side, warm side and stiff side but work their way into good comfort within about 50 miles. It is unfortunate that if you want light weight, mesh breathability and out-of-the-box flexibility you have to move up to the more expensive options, especially if you want to stick with the SL 2 last with a larger toe box.

Upon removing the shoes from the box, I was immediately aware and delighted with their light weight. I found the construction and finish impeccable and I was pleased that the shoes were made in the USA. Because the inserts were easily removable, I was able to replace them with my custom orthotics. As I continue to wear the shoes, they become more and more enjoyable. I found the "tongue" to be too long and it rubbed against my foot until I had worn the shoes for awhile. The moderately high toe box has also added to the shoe's comfort.

I bought these shoes for my husband who is diabetic. He already had some white MW811's, but needed a black pair to wear for dress because he has problems with the nerves in his feet due to the diabetes. This has worked out wonderfully and he is much more comfortable wearing these instead of the leather dress shoes. Besides, they look presentable and this pleases me.

I have wide problem feet and need the excellent lateral stability that these shoes have. The shoes fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Also, the insoles are removable to fit my orthotics (like all New Balance shoes).

I have tried other so called walking shoes in the past and none provided the immediate comfort and stability that this shoe has. I would recommend it to anyone that has problem feet. This has been a great find for me.

Wouldn’t want these for walking long distances -
These shoes are comfortable at work behind a desk. I wouldn't want to walk far in them. The heel is loose and the toes are tight. Most New Balance shoes I've had have been great. These are adequate, but not a walking shoe.

I had a pair of 811's in white and they were so good I got the brown. I have a pain in my heel and they are the only shoes that don't hurt.

Can't go wrong with New Balance.
I needed a brown shoe with a smooth finish for work that was very comfortable and this shoe is all those things. The shoe looks like it is leather, but it's not. I wear orthotics and these work well with them. It's a walking shoe and very stable; however, the bottom of the shoe isn't made with the traditional non-slip bottoms that people who work in restaurants really need. I'm still looking for that shoe in BROWN!

Great shoe for Tennis -
My husband has a long, narrow foot and cannot find shoes this size anywhere. We were so glad to find this shoe the first time and glad to find it in stock this year. Sure hope that they never stop making it because my husband would have to go barefoot!
