What is up with New Balance these days? When I used to order wide shoes, they were actually wide. I have been wearing New Balance for as long as I can remember, because they were just about the only company that made shoes that fit my flipper-like feet. Their shoes were both kind of cool, but most importantly, every single shoe sized as 11½ EEEE fit me perfectly. This is no longer the case. If I get three pairs of New Balance sneakers, not one of them fits remotely like the others, in spite of them all being ordered the same size. I love Zappos, which has truly been a gift to people with strangely sized feet, but I think I have returned 8 of the last 10 shoes I ordered from them. I ordered these a half size longer, since I cannot walk around barefoot, hoping that I could at least get my feet in them. It would not surprise me if they mislabeled a set of extra narrow shoes by mistake. These shoes are look like a felt slipper with a super thin sole, which I think some people like, but look really cheap. My wife looked at them as I pulled them out of the box and visibly shuddered. So, in summary: these shoes are way narrower than marked and look pretty ugly.

Gorgeous modern minimalist design. These sleek sneakers are made from recycled materials. They're extremely light (11oz). The upper is felt-like, but extremely tough and durable. Soft soles with low heel and hexagonal tread pattern for good grip. Available in normal and wide widths. Wide width shoes fit me like slippers. These are truly impressive shoes. Comfortable and durable. Could have been designed by Jony Ive. Love them!

Bought these for my 29 year old son for Christmas. He loves them! Very lightweight and cool looking. He wears a lot of New Balance. I purchased his normal size and they fit perfect. Not your typical sneaker.

Beautiful simple perfect kicks. Nice flat sole, very minimalist design provides the shoe perfect for kicking around on a day off all the way into a date and night on the town. Match well with casual and casual professional. For the grey, navy, brown color profile these are perfect. Thinking about buying another pair while these are still completely wearable just so I can seamlessly make the switch to a new pair when the time comes. Couldn't recommend them more. Get tons of compliments. Great way to support recycled products as well.

I love the look and feel, but these are insanely narrow! I ordered the 2E because I'd previously tried the regular width and thought maybe I needed to upsize. It turns out however that these kicks are just super narrow. Anyone with an average size foot, get the wides, anyone with anything over average widths, don't even bother.
