Problem: Yellow string on the back of one of the shoes became detached. Problem: Insole was a little loose inside the shoe. Likes: I still love the color and feel of the shoe, even though I was disappointed that the string now flops on the heel of the shoe. Would I buy another pair - Yes definitely. I appreciate the support and the black toe feature during my workouts.

These are great shoes. They provide the typical great New Balance quality. The fit is true to size and these are very comfortable lightweight shoes. There is plenty of cushioning with every step without them feeling too soft. I highly recommend these shoes.

Just got these a week or so ago. Have been trying them tentatively. Seem to be pretty good; better than a $125 pair I tried at same time. I have a 9 4E foot and is hard to find fit. I love New Balance when they fit, but like another reviewer said, their consistency just isn't there. I can order the same size in the same last between 2 different shoes and it might as well be random. As the other reviewer said, even within same shoe, size can vary. All that said, I have decided these are a keeper. Cushion, Support, fit. Great ventilation - a "must have" for me. Got black/yellow. Wanted another color so I could easily alternate. Alas, the other combinations are not available in my size. Now stuck with having to hope it becomes available or go back to the crap shoot of ordering 7 or 8 pairs and finding one that fits as well as these. Sure wish they would continue a line for a while so I could simply re-order. I also wish they'd make a muted color combo - white/grey; etc.

Per usual, New balance does not disappoint. Excellent fit, even for a man with 4E width feet, and very comfortable. Coupled with the exceedingly spectacular (there are few adjectives to describe how much I love you Zappos) service from Zappos; I could not be more satisfied. My main use of this shoe is weight lifting and treadmill-ing.

This is an excellent shoe. It's the right fit length wise, and they're perfect width wise. They're very comfortable.

So far, I love these shoes (approximately 3 weeks daily wear). I ordered them for summertime work around the rural property. I need cushioning and ventilation, and they do this well. New Balance makes both the best and the worst shoes I've ever bought and I say that mainly because if sizing / shape inconsistencies, mostly between different styles, but occasionally within the same style. These, however, fit my 9 4E foot like other comfortable 9 4Es have. I like no floppiness, but no binding as well. These were a just right fit, although I may lace them just slightly on the loose side. The sole is rugged enough for the outdoor terrain around here and not slippery. Arch support...my feet do not have a pronounced arch; too much arch support hurts, too little hurts. These are just right for me...I don't even notice it. I wish they offered a more subtle color combination. I prefer whites, grays; but these are only offered in black/yellow; grey fluorescent orange; and red/black. Despite that, I ordered another pair in the grey/orange combo so I can alternate pairs during the heat of the summer so they can dry out. I buy from Zappos rather that direct from New Balance because 1) their service is better, 2) Zappos 2 way free shipping protects me from NBs inconsistent sizing, and 3) even with the shipping deal, they were cheaper.

These shoes are, seriously, the most comfortable I've ever had. As long as the comfort level stays up until I buy my new pair, I will definitely buy them again (unless they get discontinued, as is what happens to most good products).

I ordered these in the 4x wide version and I have to say they are one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I went and bought another pair of new balance's in a different style because these were so comfortable. They didn't disappoint. The traction is fantastic, durable and they look good too with shorts or jeans. I would highly recommend these.

I bought these in red, love how they look. I always buy the same size in New Balance sneakers, a wide width 4E and they've alway been true to size, but these are a bit narrower than a 4E normally would be. The shoe is so soft and comfy that I'll still wear them without trouble, just wish they were a tiny bit wider.
