I have NEVER had anything shipped so quickly before. The shoes, made in the USA, are very nice. Well constructed and very comfortable. I will buy from Zappos again!

Bought these New Balances for comfort and for just kicking back. Couldn't be more happy with them. They fit to size and feel great on. You should get some spray for them as they can get ruined in the rain, however they are money for a normal day.

The Zappos service was great. The shoes arrived promptly in a few days. The search engine is really good and I really appreciate all the customer reviews.\r\n\r\nI wear a 2A width and the New Balance 993 was so comfortable that I ordered a 2nd part after a couple of weeks so that I could wear a pair on successive days and let the shoes dry completely on the day after I wear them. \r\n\r\nSeveral people have asked me about the gray color. They really liked the appearance as I do, especially with blue jeans. A lot of older people wear athletic shoes all the time and the gray color looks great with most things that I wear. I wonder why the manufacturers don\'t make more athletic shoes a little on the dressy side as these are for the non-athletic folks who buy so many.\r\n

I bought these because I needed an everyday stable, walking around shoe. I prefer running shoes for this purpose, but ones that are not too squishy. I picked black to wear with jeans and they look sharp with their grey and white accents. I also like the updated heel design. I have an older grey pair and the heel was a little funky, almost orthopedic looking, with a greenish stripe in it. I got the 10.5 Wide (2E) and they are a little roomy, but that is what I prefer. To me, the only thing worse than tight shoes is tight pants. They are expensive, but made with quality.

I am very happy with these sneakers. I use them primarily for commuting from work and I find them to be very comfortable. I accumulate roughly 20-25 miles per week on these shoes and find my feet and knees to be in good shape upon getting home. I am a heavier walker at about 220 lbs and find them to be stable, pretty supportive and balanced nicely. I bought them in the all black and the glow in the dark sole is kinda cool. The styling is typical New Balance 900 series. Stylistically I prefer the 574 series but the 9s are better for exercise. Overall, I would recommend this shoe, especially if you are a larger framed person. The all-black are subdued enough where you could almost wear them to work on a casual day and not draw attention to the fact that they are sneakers.
I have to agree with the bottom review. The glow in the dark 993s are the hottest color to date in series that NB has created so far. I think the shoe is very comfortable, but like the other review said, the standard colors are geared for the older crowd. The only drawback is they need to make the limited colors in wide widths. The 993s do stretch out over time, though. NB has just released a dark grey, black sole with baby blue trim 993 for men as well. NB is starting to get it right.
This is the only narrow sneaker that fits my husband. He is has a 13 AAA narrow foot. The shoes are comfortable and hold up well. We have tried the black version of the same shoe, but it was not comfortable. We have bought this shoe four times.\r\n\r\n

The all black 993 with glow trim is the best looking 993 to date. Same great cushioning and durability, even better looking. I buy a new pair of 993s about every 60-90 days and have been since they were the 991s. I have owned 30 or more pairs of this shoe/series in the last 7 years. I'm a younger guy and the color selection of this New Balance shoe has always been lacking stylish options. Welcome to new colors! My feet have never felt so great or endured so much punishment as in my new balance 993s. But let's face it, the grey and standard black, despite their assured comfort, leave me looking 60+years old from the ankle down. I wear all of the colors of this shoe anyway. Mainly because no other shoe has the resilience that this one does. The cushioning and durability just can't be matched. I am very excited to see some variations in the colors offered. I just hope NB keeps up the rotation with new colors in the future.

I love my 993s. I think they are even better then the 992s. This is my second pair. I have one in gray and one in blue.

I am a hard one to fit. But New Balance is a great shoe company! They fit everyone and their shoes are very comfortable. I am a 6E shoe, but I can wear 4E in New Balance. This shoe fits perfect to specifications.

The 993 shoe is the replacement for the 992. I have worn 992s for several years. I walk 4 miles per day or about 25 miles a week. I get about 6 months wear or between 650 - 750 miles per pair of shoes. Since I wear orthotics, I replace the factory insoles with my orthotics and I am good to go. The shoe has got support and requires little if any break in.

I measure Women's 11 AA but Women's New Balance 13 AA is too short. So ordered the Men's 12 1/2 AA, fit pretty good with my orthotic on top of the one that comes with the shoe and the laces tied tightly!
Other Brands Recommended by Reviewer: for women who need a narrow shoe, try Nike! They run the narrowest of the men\'s athletic shoes.
These shoes were perfect for my boyfriend. We tried Pumas, but they were too narrow. He'd never had a pair of New Balance shoes before. They were the perfect fit after reading the reviews! We ordered them a half size bigger than his normal size like most others said. These are the best shoes with any outfit or sport!

I have ample experience with New Balance 990's series, the last few pairs have been the 992 models, this is my second pair of 993s. What can I say, the comfort, fit and stability are built into these shoes. I am a strider and walker due to injuries, so I am very careful of what I wear, the New Balance 993s cradle and support my feet and prevent overpronation and my knees are thankful. I recommend these shoes and New Balance for consistency in design and quality.
