Be careful about sizing. I wear a size 9 in every shoe that I have and they fit me perfectly. This shoe was very tight right out of the box and I had to send it back for a size 10 which was fine. It is a minimalist shoe so just be aware that there is little cushion in the sole. They are very light though! The Vibram sole it very grippy and seems durable and well made. I wouldn't want to run long distances in these. Use them for short trail runs, hiking or working out.

I'd also recommend: Nike, Adidas, Asics

These were waiting on my doorstep when I got home last night. I pulled them out of the box and went out for a run. The Vibram soles absorbed more impact than I expected for such a minimalist shoe and my arches felt stable. This shoe is all about the sole - everything else is so lightweight that you forget you're wearing shoes. I'm impressed. Will also use these for cross-fit, runs less than 3 miles and the occasional trail.

This is not as flexible as the mt10v2, and kind of in the middle between barefoot and traditional running shoes. The sole pinched my little toe at first but is no longer an issue. I wear mine without socks and they have been comfortable at work, around town and at the gym. Overall this is a pretty decent shoe. It seems true to size.

I have these and the MT10V2. These have a bit of a thicker tread so I use them for running and everyday wear. I have been quite happy with them and have no complaints. They fit well and give me that extra protection while running on pavement while still giving me a minimalist feel. They are not as minimalist as the MT10, which are incredibly tactile. They are, however, great to run in (for me at least). I recently spent a weekend in NYC and wore these all day walking around the city and for a 4 mile run in Central Park, my feet felt fine. I would buy these again and recommend them.

I'd also recommend: New Balance, Merrell

These are the best shoes for Crossfit I've yet had. One issue for "my" feet: Right under the ball of the foot, toward the medial side of each shoe, the rubber part of the sole is too high and pushes the fabric too deep under and into the forward most part of the arch (by the ball) and may cause a blister. Shoe slightly runs small, and the forefoot is wider compared to other-branded shoes. So the lacing may have to be done tighter up front, with relaxed uppers. Boxing and extended lateral movements (tennis) may cause a blister in said area. Great for forefoot/mid striking runners.

I'd also recommend: socks or barefoot
