I actually like the shoe a lot, and after reading some reviews I chose to buy these a full size wider and bigger than I normally would. When they arrived they looked great, sadly they weren't wide enough at all. If I had to guess I'd say these ran a minimum of a 2 full sizes smaller in width then advertized. It's too bad I took a chance with Newbalance and I guess I'll be looking elsewhere for new shoes.

These are looking to be a great shoe -- fit comfortably from the first slip on. And they got positive comments -- and that doesn't happen often. I like the way the look a great deal -- classy and more subtle than you think -- great with khakis

Nice shoes, wanted something to replace the NB 1123. These are a little stiff at first (unlike the 1123's) but with time they will soften I'm sure. Good support but I do use double thickness sole slip- ins. Good traction and nice overall feel. They do seem a little narrow but in time that will change. I would buy these shoes again.
I'd also recommend: New Balnce 1123

These are great shoes except they run a hair shy of not being wide enough. I will have to return and exchange them for a wider size, if available. Maybe my husbands's feet have expanded?

Good looking, solid shoes. It's an all-terrain type shoe that's a cross between a sneaker and a trail shoe. You can wear to the gym, on a hike, or out to eat. They felt good right out of the box. I'm not crazy about the suede-type material, but it beats the mesh they are putting on all their shoes. The mess gets stained too quickly and ends up looking sloppy. That is all I have to say about this shoe.
