I previously had purchased two pairs of the original M890 and absolutely loved them. They were incredibly light but offered excellent cushioning. The fit of the original shoe was outstanding. I had no problem taking them out of the box and going out for a 10 to 12 mile run without any hot spots or blisters. I was looking forward to the M890v2 when I read about the minimal enhancements over the original M890s. The changes appeared to be purely cosmetic and the fit and comfort of the shoe appeared to have remained intact. For the most part the shoe remained intact. It's still very light and has very good cushioning. Unfortunately they appeared to have made some changes to the heel area. They added additional padding which creates friction when rubbing against your heel. I do not blister easily but as a result of this issue now seem to blister every time I run in these shoes. I've tried different socks, put on body glide on my heel and made sure that shoes are properly tied to no avail. Still a good shoe but the additional padding on the heel is problematic for me.

I love these shoes. I've had Nike, Brooks, and Sacony and these by far are my favorite. I don't have a wide foot but most other shoes feel tight after a run a few miles. I did my first 10k last weekend and they felt great the whole. So comfortable and light. I would with out a doubt recommend these shoes. I actually bought a 2nd pair in a different color I liked them so much.

This is a very light sneaker with decent support. It's well made. I needed to get a half size larger than I normally do, and the sneaker is quite narrow.
