These are very comfortable and super lightweight. These are going to be great travel shoes. They are somewhat sleek looking, and have just enough cushioning to use for running. I will not make them my main running shoes, but they are so very light and easy to wear.

I'm not a guy who likes to wear running shoes, but these are great. Nice and light. The soles are perfectly balanced between "squishy" and "stiff." I can feel them compress quite a bit while walking (260lbs). The soles remind me very much of those on my Reef Phantom flip flops. Ground feel is excellent for a somewhat traditionally-styled running shoe. These are my first choice shoe when I want something a little cushier than my FiveFingers and something sportier than moccasins. A tad shorter than another pair of NBs I have.

I purchased these for my son who used them for PE in HS; this means that he only wore them for about an hour 2 to 3 times a week and the sole began to separate. We replaced them with the identical pair and it is separating again. Horrible workmanship. Do not recommend. We will be returning for a completely different brand.

These shoes were much lighter than I expected! I wear them primarily to work so as to save my knees, but on occasion I wear them when I run on the indoor track and they've turned out to be pretty good. I would recommend these if you're looking for a stable, well-supported shoe with a light mesh. It almost feels like I'm not wearing anything on my feet.

As New Balance seems to have stopped making my beloved MR790 (I just came to the end of my 4-pair stash) I was on a quest to find a replacement. This is it. (NOTE: I tried both the M790 and MT573 before successfully landing on these). Same lightweight slipper-like feel and minimalist black look as the old MR790... with perhaps a touch more padding in the sole, but that could just be because they're new. The only initial downside I've noticed would be that NB has moved away from the great "knobby" laces of the MR790 that never came untied. Time will tell how these new laces fare. Sizes fit the same as the old MR790.

Had to return these. I have a wide foot, and high instep and my foot felt like a sausage stuffed into the shoe. I normally wear only New Balance and take a wide, but these must run small.

I don't care much for athletic shoes...I always take them off as soon as I've exercised. I bought a pair of these locally, and got a second, back-up pair from Zappos. I continue to wear them after I've exercised since they're the most comfortable exercise shoe I've ever owned! (I'm a female, but I wanted a plain black shoe and this is what I (happily) ended up with).

Zappos had a wide variety of the style shoe I wanted to purchase at a great price. When I had to send an article back because of size, they were very prompt in the refund etc. I will use them again in the future.

Upper feels cheap and flimsy. Overall quality seemed quite poor for NB shoes, which I typically like. Fit 1/2 size small.
