If you are an over-pronator, your arches are low to medium and your legs have been called "sturdy" more than once, here's your running shoe. Best to bump up half a size to spare your toe nails. The toe box is roomy, but the New Balance offshore lasts are a bit small for US foot lengths consistently. I love the hot styling and graphics, and the shoe is lightweight and breathable with thin or cushion socks. Great for urban and park path running. Heavy-duty sole cushioning for the big heel strike, decent arch support without the orthopedic shoe look/feel. Your knees should appreciate the "ride"...pretty comfy, even for an ex-fullback like myself. Good for shin splints and plantar fasciitis sufferers...you will be pleased with your purchase.

These shoes run way small! I ordered a size bigger than what I usually order and wear and they are still too small! Order more than a size higher than what you normally wear!

Being cheap, I could never understand paying this much for running shoes. However desperate for a triple e, in hopes of relieving pressure from a Morton's Neuroma, I bit the bullet. Nice comfortable shoe, that provides the toe room I was looking for. Didn't provide the relieve i was looking for. Not a problem of the shoe. A slight concern, the rear treads are spaced wide. More than once small rocks get stuck in the treads. I only run a 1/2 mile dirt road to get into the park and most trips I need to stop and pull a rock out of the tread. Annoying. On the positive, I feared the shoe would be bulky and feel heavy. It's very comfortable. I have no problems wearing them for my 5k races.

I'd also recommend: New Balance for us heavy guys and my Asics for race days

I have narrow feet and other NB B width shoes. These were not narrow enough in the heel (not unusual) but when I tightened them they became much too tight by the cuboid bone. I'm sending them back.

These may be the best running shoes I've owned. I've always owned NB 990 series, but these are better...and don't smell like cat pee. Great cushioning. Love the sale price. Might buy another pair. Definitely heed the size suggestion. I wear a 9.5 consistently with NB, but I needed a 10.5 with the 1260. I have terrible feet...narrow and overpronating...and these fit beautifully.
