My child really likes them and can put them on or take them off "all by himself," which makes us all happy. My only critique is that they do seem to run a little wide because the strap must be pulled all the way across to the point that only half of the velcro attaches with the remainder hanging below. However, the velcro is higher quality than in most shoes and has held up well (over the last month).

My son loves these shoes! He loves the fun vibrant colors and they fit his wide high arched feet so comfortably. Great kids shoe!

Best kids/toddlers shoes ever. We have owned these in every size our son has worn so far and will continue to buy them as he grows! They are easy for a kid to put on and take off by themselves and have great arch support for growing little feet. Five stars.

My son has wide feet with a high arch and these shoes fit perfectly. He's 2 years old and loves the color and fit. People ask me where I got him these nice shoes, because there is no department store that has them.
Brands I'd also recommend: New Balance, Stride Rite, Skechers

We just bought a second pair of these in the next size up for my son because he is starting to grow out of his size 9 pair (XW width). He has really wide feet and a high instep as well. Therefore, the normal assortment of wide-width kids shoes out there (like stride-rite's extra wide even, or even NB regular or just wide width) are still not wide enough for his feet to go in and out with ease and without complaint from him (he's 3). He loves these shoes and can put them on and off by himself with the convenient velcro closure. He gets a lot of compliments on the look of it as well. Thank you Zappos for providing a shoe that is comfortable, comparable in price as other New Balance carriers, and cute as well!

Love these shoes! So does my little guy. He really has gotten good at running and these definitely don't slow him down. They're not as flexible as the Nikes we purchased for his first shoes, but still a great shoe with good support and perfect for him to learn to put on and take off himself.

My two and a half year old son loves these shoes! I think they're supportive and comfortable because he runs very easily in them and has never complained about the fit. He outgrew his size 9 Pumas, so I ordered a size 9 in these (since Pumas run narrow) and they fit his slightly chunky feet perfectly. I will definitely buy 993s again, but in a more neutral color so they match everything.

Our three year old son saw these shoes online and loved them from the moment he saw them. We bought him New Balance Kids shoes in a different color previously and he has outgrown them, so we ordered these in a larger size for him. He adores the bright colors and seems to find them very comfortable. We would definitely order them again!

Perfect toddler shoe! My 20 month old son has this exact shoe for the 2nd time! They are so easy to put on and off because there is only one velcro strap and it is very strong. I returned about 4 pairs of shoes from stride rite because the velcro was not sticking because he has such a high instep. I am constantly receiving compliments on how cute they are too. I absolutely recommend this shoe!
