The zig-zagging strap velcro closure does not allow for different tightnesses across the top of the foot like laces or straight-across velcro straps allow. My child could not get this shoe to tighten enough to be secure.

These shoes fell apart at the toe in less than two months of moderate wear. The fit is great but they do not last long enough for the price.

These shoes fell apart at the toe in less than two months of moderate wear. The fit is great but they do not last long enough for the price.

My daughter wears an extra wide shoe, size 4.5. I usually buy her shoes online because this size is almost impossible to find otherwise. The purple color was stylish and best of all, the fit was great. I don't think I've ever been as happy with a pair of sneakers. She will forget she's wearing them and when she comes inside I have to remind her to take them off. Most of the time, she kicks off her shoes first thing. Excellent pair of shoes.

I have three kids with wide feet. Buying new shoes was a chore until I discovered Zappos and this shoe. This is the fourth pair I've purchased and plan to keep buying them in the future. I've got one child who wears wide and two who wear extra wide.

My 7 year old loves these! Despite being very "girly" in all of her fashion choices, she chooses to wear them almost every single day. In fact, she loves them so much that we are replacing the 12.5's she got last fall with the exact same ones, now in a size 1. Her old shoes held up very well and are still in great condition, but they are just too small.
