My preschool daughter likes these and they are one of the only brands that carries a wide. Many other brand shoes squeeze her toes and she stops wearing them after one or two times. I just wish New Balance made more shoes and boots so we could have a bigger selection of good quality wide shoes for her!

I am most pleased to write a review about the New Balance Sneakers I purchased for my eight-year-old granddaughter. This is the second pair; the first being all white. She is delighted with this pair because they are white with pink trim (she loves pink). The comfort is superior, style is great, and I highly recommend them to everyone. I must comment on Zappos; although, you didn't ask me for this. From the service reps on the phone to the shipping policies, Zappos ranks number one with me. From a very happy customer.

These shoes are great! I did have my daughter measured at a New Balance store (they didn't have anything like this style, though, and we needed something simple for private school uniforms). I think the sizing for these shoes (not just this style) ran a little small, so we had to size up slightly both in size and width. But we are both very happy with the shoes!

Purchased the Wide shoe, and when my child tried it on, it was felt like a Narrow width shoe. It was so tight that my child could not even get the shoe on. Suggest others purchase a width higher than they normally purchase.

My daughter absolutely loves these shoes. She asks to wear her "new shoes" every day. I bought extra wide because that was the only ones they had in my daughter’s size and it's worked out great because with sweat socks and being able to tighten the shoe w/the velcro straps the shoe is snug but not uncomfortable like other tennis shoes she's had in the past. They look great too.

These shoes fit my daughter great.
These shoes fit my daughter better than any other brand we have tried. Most other shoes make her feet hurt. She loves them because they are pink and white, and she is my little princess.

Great shoe but runs small -
This is a great shoe. My local shoe store did not have it in my daughter's size, so I ordered it here. The shoe store had told me they run small so I should order one size up (my dd wears a 12W so I ordered 13W). The shoe fits fine and came in less than 24 hours! I ordered it one night and had them the next morning. Can't beat that!

These are great shoes! My daughter loved them from the first day they arrived. She wears a wide, and the fit was perfect. Very sturdy for outdoor play.

New Balance Kid's Shoes -
My granddaughter has a wide foot and it is so hard to find cute wide shoes for a 4 year old. She just loves these shoes and the fit her great and they are also very nice looking. Keep up the good work Zappos and continue to carry wide shoes for little girls.

My grandkids hero!
These shoes are wonderful. My granddaughters love them. It is hard to find cute shoes for little wide feet. My four year old granddaughter told me they were comfortable and soft. "Comfortable" is a big word for a four year old! My 4 and 5 year old granddaughters already know who Zappos is. They look for the the Zappos box to arrive and always say, "Grandma sent us something!" They are already little Zappos fans. Thanks, Zappos for such quality products and fast service.
I bought this shoe in silver earlier and was very pleased with the fit. I usually wear a size 6.5 W or WW, and the W size in this shoe fits like a glove. I've also purchased the burgundy patent and they both look like a million bucks. The heel is extremely high in such a small size, which makes walking a rather precarious thing. I'll confess, I didn't buy them for walking around. :) There isn't enough arch support for my high arches, and walking/standing tippy toes makes the ball of my foot hurt within a very short time. But they don't pinch my toes, which is awesome.

New balance first pair -
This is the first time we tried this brand. Our little one still choose her Ecco boot over this new shoe. The size seems to run half size bigger than what we expected. However, we are very pleased with Zappos customer service. We received our order in two days!

My Child's Hobbit Feet -
Our first order with Zappos, we went with regular wide. Seems my child's feet aren't getting much longer, but WIDER. Thankfully, Zappos online customer chat was there to save the day. With a quick online interaction, we were able to do an exchange and get the extra wide. I love the fact that Zappos is so very customer oriented. Also, well loved are the easy on/off of the New Balance shoe - my daughter can put these on/take them off all by herself! Thanks Zappos!

I bought these shoes for my daughter who recently started wearing leg braces. We needed a very wide shoe to accommodate the braces, and these did the trick. Finding a double wide shoe in stores is nearly impossible, so I turned to the internet. Zappos had what I was looking for, and even upgraded the 3-day shipping to next day. I ordered the shoes at lunchtime on Tuesday and had them in my hands at lunchtime on Wednesday. This was truly remarkable. You've won me over, Zappos!

New Balance really are the best sneakers for your toddler's feet. I love these because they are a great transition shoe - they are not the baby sneakers with all the appliqué stuff on them, but they are not laces, my toddler is 3 1/2 and she needed a more "grown up" shoe but is not ready for laces, this fits the bill! They are comfortable, she loves them, easy on easy off, expertly made, and a REAL new balance, not the NBs you see that are "made for cheap dept store" any NB store will tell you those are made cheaper to get to a cheaper price point, these are straight from the factory, solid construction and excellent support.
