This is a great shoe. My son has an XW foot and the New Balance sneakers fit him perfectly. I highly recommend them.

Inconsistent sizing. We purchased these shoes a size up from child's current size in another New Balance style and they were huge, purchased in 2 sizes down and they were way too small. Again purchased in child's current size and they fit large enough that he will graduate into these after he outgrows his current other style New Balance in the same size. It was very frustrating to ship and purchase repeatedly due to size varying so greatly. Otherwise they are a very nice shoe which runs wide enough so that we also did not need the Wide width as we normally purchase.
