I bought these shoes for my four year old. He loves them. I got him a wide and he says they feel good. I like the style of it and the color because it does not show dirt. They are well made and durable. The laces are a little long, not too good for learning to tie your shoes. Overall I am very pleased with these and I will order New Balance again. I love the selection they offer for people with wide feet.

Got these for my 8 year old and he loves them. I've always had a hard time buying shoes for him. He has a flat foot and it's hard to find shoes he'll even wear. These are comfortable and because of the mesh lining. His feet don't sweat. True to size and looks great with shorts and jeans. Great shoes.

My 9 year old is on his 2nd pair and my 6 yr old is on his 1st pair. They are very active boys with wider feet and love to run. These shoes are comfortable and look cool enough for them. I love that they last. They do 'breathe'-the upper is mesh, so the 6 year old does complain that his feet get cold on the colder days (it's December and we're in Maine and maybe he should wear his boots!), but they are running shoes and therefore have a mesh upper.

My son has sensitive feet and this shoe fits comfortably. They have been worn daily for a month now and have not had any hot spots or discomfort. Prior to this, he had a similar model of New Balance kids' shoes. They provide excellent support. He is very active and they wear very well and never get worn out before he outgrows them.

These shoes are great. Size is true and our sons indicates they are very comfortable. He runs in these constantly. Our boys wear only NB or Saucony because taking care of young feet is very important. One other thing with these shoes is that the color masks dirt very well and these look newer longer. Also I highly recommend Zappos - after just a handful of purchases they recently upgraded us to VIP and their selection for toddler size shoes is unbeatable.

My son loves these shoes. The laces seem kind of short if you actually lace them properly (in and out of last two eyelets, then back through and to pull tight. Not too many folks know about this funky yet correct lacing method....) and if you don't lace them that correct way, then I'm sure the laces will be long enough. Now that my son knows how to tie his shoes in a proper double-knot, these stay tied. So that's good too! He runs, jumps, rides his bike, goes to school... everything is good with these shoes. Great color and design too.

Great running and all-around shoe. This is my son's second pair and he wears them to school every day so he can run fast at recess. They hold up pretty well given that he wears them every day. Will order the next size up when the time comes.
