My son has wide feet and we can't find any wide basketball shoes in stores in the Cincinnati area. He was developing bad foot problems from the team shoes he was wearing. These New Balance are great! Wider, comfortable, good looking, and sturdy.

These shoes were comfortable and supportive around the ankles. There was one issue I had with them: After a couple hours, the inside of both ankle bones developed hotspots from I think the top eyelet. The skin was rubbed raw, being too thin for a blister in that area. So, now I just put a bandaid right in that spot, which does work to prevent the problem. I'm sure that others may experience this, which I believe happens only if you tighten the laces all the way up and tight. Not a big deal otherwise I'd give the shoes 5 stars. If you are just wearing these shoes casually, it probably isn't even an issue.

The shoes are good court shoes. They are a little tight around the toes until they get broken in.

Overall a good shoe. It is wider than other shoes (Nike) and my primary reason for buying it. I would have liked it a bit wider (true EE) but it is manageable. Shoe is also a bit heavy. Having said all that, I would buy again.

Great shoes. Bought these for my husband for basketball, kickboxing and other cross-training. Tough to find good ankle support in a not-too funky design. These are true to size in wide and my husband loves them.

These are not to be worn by the meek or timid player who stays outside poke in and hoping, but by the true paint warrior who deserves the finest fitting,perfectly balanced 907. The shoe provides superior ankle support, while allowing the foot to breathe; all the while resting in a bed of thick ergonomically styled support/insole. Why would you want a 9.8 when you can score a 10?

Purchased this shoe to try to prevent ankle re-injury. Shoe is a little hard to pull on without loosening the laces a lot but provides good ankle support. Wasn't long until they were broken in and very comfortable, though this did cause the front of the shoe to disfigure slightly. Due to the large size I need, the molded white front is big, notable and took awhile to get used to. It looks good though and is comfortable. Very pleased overall.

If you sport wider dogs and/or ankle accoutrements then these are the basketball shoes for you. I'm able to pack in two semi-rigid ankle braces and not feel like I'm saddled with prisoners' shackles or unable to drive the lane without clipping everyone on the court. They're a little heavier than I'd like but I'd trade a featherweight feel for adequate width and sturdy construction every day of the week...or at least Wednesdays and Sundays when I play. Also, they look pretty swell on the hardwood.

I was advised to go a 1/2 size larger than normal by a friend who recommended New Balance. It was a good recommendation. I'm impressed by the comfort. Style is okay but I strictly use these for playing pickup recreational basketball games.

As usual, New Balance has produced an excellent shoe. My teenage son, who uses a custom in-shoe orthotic, can usually find New Balance shoes that fit well and are stylish enough for his adolescent sensibilities. Our only issue with the brand (I wear their shoes, too) is that the inside lining at the heel often wears out before the rest of the shoe and this has happened to both of us, with multiple pairs of shoes. This model provides good overall support and fairly good arch support, and wears well (this is the second pair we've gotten for him in this model).

This isn't the sexiest looking pair of basketball shoes, but they work well. I've been wearing these to play ball for a few weeks now, and I haven't had any problems with rubbing and no blisters. The ankle support has been solid. Several times I've had to turn awkwardly and my ankle has stayed supported. I'm a heavier dude for my height and have had shoes in the past that have hurt my arches, ankles and knees, but I haven't had any problems thus far. They fit great on me length and width wise, but I have short, wide feet. I've had trouble finding athletic shoes that fit well in the past because of this. I recommend giving the BB907 a try.

Once again New Balance comes through for me. Nikes, as a rule, don’t fit my feet and always pinch in the toebox, but these shoes fit great. I've used them a handful of times so far: good grip, excellent ankle support -- I have to really undo the laces to get in and out as the shoe really wraps up. Fine in the arches (not a place I'm sensitive to). Only potential weak point is it's not the lightest shoe out there.

I bought these for my 12yr. old son. I ordered the wrong size at first but exchanged for smaller size. My son said they are very comfortable. He needed a very supportive shoe because he has hip dyplasia and uses an insert with all of his shoes. These were able to accommodate an insert and perform the way he needed.
