I like these boots. They are very comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry. They also have good tread, so I don't slip around on the ice. To be honest, I don't think they're the cutest boots, but I need something in a wide width that's good for getting around in the snow. These fit the bill. That said, even though they're not ultra-stylish, I get a lot of compliments on them. They have also been easy to clean. The salt stains wipe right off.

I purchased the Naturalizer Rayne boots and to my dismay I was very unhappy with the outer appearance/make of these boots. But, I must say, they're very comfortable. Yet, I think that for the price, these waterproof boots should have been made using better materials. Contrary, these Naturalizer Rayne boots are highly distasteful and in my opinion, the upper puff portion of these boots looks as though they were made with a dollar store plastic garbage bag. Furthermore, the lower bottom of these boots is too masculine and overly bulky.

Great boots! These boots are comfortable and warm. I am just getting back into shoes after having foot surgery in August 2010. Being that it is weather and snowing I needed a pair of boots. Because of my surgery, I brought them half size bigger. I have to wear heavy socks, but the extra space is fine.

Very comfortable boot. They are warm and fit my calves perfectly. Can be worn with jeans, skirts or slacks.

I planned on returning these boots because when I tried them on (at the end of a work day) I could no zip them all the way. I don't think I have large calves, but I have trouble with boots fitting. I gave the boot another shot one morning and I'm glad I did. They do fit (well in the morning when my foot is true to size) and are so comfortable and warm! My biggest concern was warmth when wearing a skirt and commuting on a cold train. These are the best boots to accomplish both concerns. I love these boots (although style could be a more stylish) and am glad I didn't return them. These are well made boots.

Contrary to some reports, the shoe doesn't look like it's made from garbage bags. It's definitely not leather (nor does it appear to attempt to look like it). The shoe is simply a casual, functional winter boot. It's one of the warmer boots I've been able to find in my width, so that made me happy. My only issue was, as others have mentioned, the shaft size. To work around the issue, I just zipped the boots low and pulled them up to give a scrunched look (the shaft is a lightweight, but warm material) outside skinny jeans. I didn't hate the look. The fit is very comfy, and the shoe lasts for more than a winter. I'd get it a shot. If you don't like it, Zappos Customer Service is amazing, and you can ship it back for free!

These boots are very warm. the shaft is comfy, warm and soft. I have wide feet and the shoe width was perfect. I thought they were too flat when I first saw them because I am used to heeled boots, but they were so comfortable I am now sold on low heeled boots. Got complements on these boots the first day I wore them.

I purchased these boots just over a year ago. I liked the padded calf as they made the boots extremely warm. However, at about the six month mark the interior foot/ankle area started deteriorating from wear and the exterior foot had creases to the body that made the boots appear old/worn. The worst wear was on the calf, however. The exterior fabric is so thin that it easily tears and the white stuffing comes out. The boots wore a few holes in the padding before I eventually no longer felt like they looked nice enough to wear out to social events. Maybe I would wear them to walk the dog -- but the interior is so worn down that they are no longer warm unless I wear thick socks with them. They are definitely comfortable and usable for six months, but these easily deteriorated. They are not a long-term purchase.

Even though it says wide shaft, I am not able to zip the boots up with long underwear and jeans. They zip easily with nothing underneath, but I need a boot to wear in the snow over pants to keep the snow out. I will be returning them.

What a beautiful boot. I wanted to keep them. I really did. Living in Boston and being a pedestrian doesn't allow for anything less than perfection, and these boots have almost zero traction. I would have been warm in these; I would have looked good; I would have fallen on my butt. They are being returned.
