These are the best boots I've ever had. I have a wide foot and an even wider calve. I've bought others that were suppose to fit, but didn't. These are so comfortable I can wear them all day with no foot fatigue. Love them!

I have a narrow foot and fairly wide calves. Thought the wide shaft option would be good, but found that the shaft was a little too wide (understandable) but the the boot overall was wide and big (not understandable). I thought the suede was nice, but the leather parts were not - looked and felt more like vinyl. The heel was also a little too high for me and the style with the back inset and lacing a little costumey. Am returning these.

So happy with these. The wide shaft glided right over my 18" calves without making them look like stuffed sausages. And the heel height is feminine yet manageable.

Love, love these boots! I am a 5'1 curvy gal that needs wide shafts...the ties make it a perfect fit. Comfortable, sassy, and I received so many compliments! Zappos is the BEST, I tried 5 other boots! Now I have the perfect fit & style.

Suprisingly cute! Naturalizer has really stepped up its game in the style department. These boots are cute and well made for the price point. The wide shaft has plenty of room to wear with skinny jeans or leggings. I'm looking forward to wearing this weekend.

Cute boots and I wanted them to work... sorry ladies if your calf is bigger than 16 inches these won't zip up... try the Naturalizer Motive instead... not as tall, but a similar heel and suede as well, and worked on my 17 inch calves.

Who I am so that you can judge my evaluation...a 50+, short, heavy lady who refuses to be old but needs her comfort in shoes. These boots are gorgeous. I ordered the black and the brown, because I heard the brown color was gorgeous. That is true, but I am keeping the black because they are more versatile for me. As for fit...they zipped perfectly over my wide calf (17 inches) and what I really liked was there is no obvious elastic panel. The "give" is found in the flirty, corset back which I didn't have to adjust. The round toe doesn't squish. The only thing that was a question for me was that I originally wanted flat riding boots. I ordered 3 other pairs of flat, riding boots (one pair...Lumiani Lyndsay2 also fit with the need for a little stretch time). I am actually considering keeping the Lumiani pair also. The ones I am returning, just in case you would like to get a comparison based on me...Ros Hammerson Song...calf was even too big for me (there's a first)! I am also returning the Type Z Soha...really was looking forward to that over the knee look, but way too tight in the calf. Couldn't even get my foot down to the bottom. Too much work for me.
Brands I'd also recommend: Sofft, Merrell

Accidentally ordered wide shaft and I'm swimming in them. Honestly don't care for the boot at all - the toe is too rounded. Very comfy, though!

The shaft was perfect for wide calves like mine. The only discomfort was around the ankles. By the end of the day, where the leather bends at the ankle was hurting. Perhaps it'll wear in. Otherwise, a great boot.
