As a result of the fine Filipino craftsmanship and fresh design, it was a resounding success. Lingerie and daywear were soon added to her budding line. In 1985 Josie's husband, Ken Natori, left his executive position to join his wife as a business partner for The Natori Company. The lingerie industry was never the same.
