Hold the pen about 2cm (3/4 of an inch) from the tip and rest your pinky just below the outer corner of the eye for stability. Hewing as close to the lash line as possible, line from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner, graduating in thickness as you go. Finish your line in a tapered point. - 0.04 fl. oz.

I had read that this was a long-lasting, waterproof eye liner and that is why I bought it. However, from the first time I used it, I noticed that it was not waterproof as my eyes would water and the eye liner would smudge. Not a pretty sight!
