I live in the southeast and have been looking for a transition shoe to wear when the weather is too cool for sandals but too warm for winter shoes. The Taranga fits that category perfectly. It is a very comfortable shoe, and the gray / black combo makes it very versatile. It looks great with jeans and casual slacks. I typically wear a size 8 and my usual Naot size of 39 fit perfectly.

The canvas nubuck/pearl patent is a little darker in color than shown on my computer. Its a nice light beige color, and the patent leather adds zing. They're really cute shoes! The patent top strap has a nice bit of elastic near the side that adds a little stretch comfort to the top, so the patent isn't binding. It's very comfy, and as usual five stars for Zappos. I ordered on Sunday, they shipped Monday, arrived Tuesday, and I wore them all day Wednesday.

I love the style of these shoes. A good dressed-up yet confortable and casual feel. They are a bit snug, however not enough to go up a size. Will wear them out once they break-in.

I was looking for summer shoes and these fit the bill. I love Naot for their comfort and durability and the color is nice and light and the shoes are not too bulky and they will allow me to do a lot of walking all day at work. The one caveat is: I think Naot has changed their sizing. So the size 36 I ordered must be returned for a 37. My older Naots are size 36 and fit my size 6 to 6½ feet just fine, they even say "L6" inside, but now the 36s say "L5" and it is true. I cannot wait for new size to arrive so I can start wearing these!
Brands I'd also recommend: Merrill, Dansko

Certainly not a fashion statement - in a good way, that is - the Naot Taranga is my go-to yoga, farmer's market, etc. flat. I wear a street shoe size 8, and bought size 39. Comfortable on concrete for long walks, the Taranga has great arch support and a comfortable amount of cushioning.
