I have severe foot problems: completely collapsed arches (bones now protrude where instep was located); severe arthritis; small fiber peripheral neuropathy) which combine to produce severe pain. I purchased 2 pair of the Sound sandal last summer, and have been astounded with the comfort they provide. Important note: Naot group their shoes by a footbed line. The Sound is in the Allegro group. It is important to determine the line(s) that work for you. Just look for other styles in that group. The Information is available in the detailed info that Zappos provides.
I'd also recommend: Stick with Naot.... definitely worth the money!

Loved the fit & comfort but need larger size so returned & reordered.
I'd also recommend: mainly this brand but Allegria has great support too

If you wear a US size 10, you will probably have problems with sizing in all Naot shoes. I just tried on four pairs, a mixture of size 41 and size 42 shoes, and all of them were too small. My foot hits the exact size 10 line on the scale used in American shoe stores. In addition, I require narrow shoes for sports (New Balance 2A width) and have a low-volume foot. I own at least fifty pairs of size 10 shoes (Merrell, Keen, Steve Madden, Urban Outfitters, etc). I also own several pairs of size 41 shoes, Rieker, Duo, Aldo, etc. Sometimes I find that I can wear size 9.5 and size 40. I was surprised then to find that even the size 42 in Naot shoes barely outlined my foot. Because of this, my heel didn't sit properly, so I returned all the shoes.

NAOTs are my favorite comfort shoe, and I especially like this style...want to wear it all the time.

This is my favorite Naot footwear with removable footbed. The shoe is comfortable and cute! I have a half dozen pairs of Naot shoes, but this is my favorite.
