I looked at a wide range of casual/dress boots before making my decision. I wanted comfort and style and the Naot's delivered on both. The look great on and are super comfortable, you can wear them all day no problem. The sizing is pretty much spot on, I usually wear an 11 1/2 or 12 and the 12's fit great.

I admit to being very particular (insert the a*** word here) about my footwear, a lesson that was reinforced in the jungles of SE Asia many years ago, so don't let the price put you off. I needed to replace a favorite pair of ankle boots this winter, and based on my previous experience with Naot sandals, I decided to give these a try. Couldn't be happier - great for almost any occasion from knock around casual to anything short of semi-formal. Very stylish, and more importantly, very comfortable and very competitive with the European offerings of twice the price. Of course, the Zappos commitment to customer service, fast shipping and fair pricing is a given.

I love the way these boots look - good for casual or dress-up. When I first got them the stitching was stiff and rubbed my ankles raw but now they're getting far more comfortable after wearing them 3 or 4 times. The fit seems true to size, but I wish they came in half sizes.

These Naot boots look great and for narrow feet are the only ones that are anywhere near comfortable. But they are not as comfortable other Naots I have (wingtip shoes, sandals) and my feet do suffer a measure of foot-fatigue. Support and comfort all along the bottom of the foot could be better.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ecco

Had these boots for exactly 2 months when the sole separated from the upper part of the boot. Contacted Naot and they would not help me and refused to return my calls. They told me I could go to a shoe repair shop and pay for the repair myself. I will never by another pair of Naot boots ever. Horrible customer service, substandard product
