I really like these shoes. I had to size up from my normal size possibly because I have a wide foot; I was surprised that these were wide enough. For some reason, the ball of my foot aches after I wear them for a while; perhaps because the heel is higher than I generally wear. I tossed in some gel insoles which will help. I love the way they look; very cute with jeans or slacks (I bought them in black). I wish they were less expensive; would love to have a brown pair also. I'm happy!

This is a beautiful, sleek shoe. It is not a good shoe to do a lot of walking. My feet hurt after a few hours of shopping. I love the extra height the shoe gives me and that is probably why my feet hurt as I am used to a shoe with not much heel. Overall the shoe is well made and I highly recommend it.

These are fun, comfortable shoes for everday wear. They hold up in all weather and stay comfortable all day long, even through lots of walking and standing. Naot does a great job providing a stable heel and a durable, all weather sole. Because of their fairly round toe, I think they look best dressing up jeans and other more casual pants.

I purchased Naot's Gleam in black to replace some Dansko low boots for business casual environment and on trips to northern states. I have owned many Danskos and one Noat and have loved them all (I gravitate towards comfort). The Gleam is tighter (narrower) in the toe than all my Danskos (which have larger toe boxes than most brands), but you can see that in the design. I can't wear any extra warmth in the toe area or inserts. The ankle area slips, which I'm used to, as I have a narrow heel area. I am not sure I could walk allL day in Noat's Gleam, but my feet feel great after wearing them in an office all day and I felt they appeared more professional than my Danskos. I am not able to recommend the Gleam for people who walk or stand all day.

Really a fine shoe, I had them on last night. I can't wear them all day like the Ariat for instance, which has a wider toe and a lower heel. They really replace my fancy trouser boots with a healthier yet elegant look. The footbed is contoured so that your foot does not slide around, which is impressive in a high heel and important if you have ever had foot problems.

Very comfortable, and uniquely styled! These have worked in the Chicago snow and ice, and look great indoors as well. Can be worn with jeans or dress slacks, very versatile!

I wanted to like this shoe SO bad b/c I just love how it looks – it’s a very good looking shoe. But it was SOOOOOOOO uncomfortable on me. It is very, very, VERY narrow - beyond normal "narrow" - and I don’t have a wide foot. The shoe pinched my toes so bad. The cushioning on the shoe is also not good - especially on the ball of the foot. It was very hard. However, I think if you have an extremely narrow foot, you will like the shoe. Also, I have a high arch - and it did NOT cut into the top of my foot at all - the leather is very soft. So it probably would accommodate a higher arch, assuming you are narrow. Also, the shoe is very sturdy in the heel. I’m very clumsy and trip easily, but I felt very secure in the shoe. I wish I could keep it b/c it’s a beautiful shoe!

Too bad... I love the style and the foot bed, but they have to go back. They're just too narrow to fit comfortably, and I don't even have a wide foot. I wish Naot would re-size their shoes for greater comfort across the widest part of the foot. At this price, I demand comfort, and they just didn't deliver.

I love this shoe. It fits true to size and looks very sharp and classy. I got them in the black crinkle patent and have received several compliments on them. The heel is the perfect height, not too high, not too low. They are comfortable to wear for a full day of walking around. They feel springy and well-cushioned. I just have to be careful not to scuff or tear the patent material so they always look good! I highly recommend them, they're really great shoes.

I purchased the Naot's for a dresser look than my old Dansko black clogs. The Naot's are very comfortable, great shoe for business everyday with a pair of slacks. I bought a size larger after reading the reviews and the shoes were too large. After returning for my normal size the shoes fit true to my foot. Zappos is the best. The first place I look when purchasing shoes. Not just for next day delivery, easy returns, but for my small 5 1/2 size foot. Zappos has a wide variety of shoes in my size.

I really really wanted to like these booties, because they do look sharp and are a cross of dressy/casual elegance. I own 7 or 8 pairs of Naots, including two pairs of the Pleasure Mary Jane pumps which have the same heel height and shape, which some reviewers felt were a bit narrow. I found them to be comfortable. The Gleam boots are VERY narrow and I had a hard time actually slipping into them with even a light sock. Once I get into them, they feel tight around the instep, but I can comfortably walk in them around the house. I will have to make a decision whether to keep them, though, because I am not sure if the leather can stretch sufficiently for a comfortable fit with a sock - after all these are fall/cold weather boots. For anyone who has a narrower feet, they are beautiful and the insole and heel is very comfortable - as always with Naots (my favorite brand for shoes). I am so grateful to Zappos excellent service and return policy, which allows me enough time to make up my mind without stress.
