Naot Footwear Gardenia SKU #7161144(View on Zappos.com Classic)

This is my first pair of Naots. I ordered them in a 41, which is my usual Euro size. I wear a 9.5 or sometimes a 10 in American sizes. They fit like a glove, which is to say a little too snugly. The strap around the back of the heel pulled a bit with each step. The leather toebox of the shoe also formed a little wrinkle where it joins the sole, and it rubbed annoyingly on the side of my foot. This may have been due to the shape of my feet. However, I really like the style of the shoe, and they are extremely well made and otherwise very comfortable. So I returned the 41's and ordered a 42. The 42's don't seem that much larger than the 41's, but that little bit of extra room made all the difference! I wore them to work all day without socks (I do quite a bit of walking) and although they felt like new shoes, they were quite comfortable. I've worn them several times now and they have broken in very well. I ordered them in Toffee, which is a nice dark brown, and I may buy them in blue also. They work well with either pants or skirts, barefoot (love the suede footbed) or with socks. I would definitely buy Naots again.

Foot surgery - Zappos to the rescue! After foot surgery I found out that I needed closed-toes shoes. Shocker - over the past years I have accumulated a number of excellent shoes from Zappos that are now unsuitable. Now, I am giving them away - sniff. (I kept a few pairs of Mephisto that I will wear with tights!) Naot is a new brand to me, but the shoe looked so cute and spring-like that I ordered it. (Free returns mean that I can shop with confidence.) I am Zappos VIP - so the next day I received these cuties. It is hard to see in the photo but there are little open teardrop cut out on the shoe. Ordered on Monday, received on Tuesday, and wore them for a full day of teaching high school on Wednesday. WOW!! I took "back-up" shoes but did not need them. Students commenting on the shoes kept reminding me that they were indeed brand new. I ordered the Navy and it will go with my denim skirts/crops/pants as well as some of my dresses. I will add Naot to my favorite brands list.

Adorable shoe with comfortable footbed, but I’m going to have to return them. I ordered a 40 in Copper. I usually wear an 8.5 to a 9, so a 40 should’ve been plenty big, but my toes hit the end of this shoe. And the next size up is too big. Darn!

My favorite shoes - Bought these before a trip to France & UK where I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking. They are so comfortable! Only problem I had was a bit of rubbing on the top of my foot, but I put some foam strips in a few spots and that did the trick. They are very cute - I get compliments all the time. Nice enough that I can wear them to work too.

Cute Look! Love Naot shoes. The removable footbed is the best! I bought black, but I think the brown ones are a little cuter and daintier, but I have too many brown shoes! :) I went one size up from the other Naot shoes.

Very Comfortable - These shoes are great for my problem feet. They are the second pair of Naot sandals I've bought- the first pair lasted 4 summers of constant wear! Naot has one of the most comfortable footbeds I've ever found. The only drawback is that the straps and the part of the shoe right near the arch did rub me a bit at first. I put in a little innersole in and that took care of the rubbing. I saw that another reviewer also complained about the rubbing issue.

Naot Gardenia - I wish you had better, clearer picture of shoes. They all look so dark.

This style wasn't for me, but another was fantastic. Zappos’ description (and service) was perfect. Unfortunately, I found the leather upper stiff - it cut into my foot between the toe and arch area, but the footbed was truly remarkable. I must return this style, but was so impressed with the footbed I ordered "Nice". I am very pleased with them and will try other Naot styles.

These shoes are cute, light and so comfortable -- I feel like I am wearing slippers. They fit true to size (I wear 7.5 and the 38 fit well), have moderate arch support, and the toe box is roomy. I like that the cross straps have velcro to adjust for a custom fit, and the inside is softly lined. They will look good with pants, jeans and casual skirts/dresses.

Love the comfort - These are extremely comfortable especially because I need to wear a custom orthotic, and these shoes are totally orthotic friendly. I also have a wide toe box and this shoe does accommodate my width. I really love them and have gotten many compliments.
