These were advertised as having removable insoles. They do not, as the insole is glued both to the cork and the leather. If they mean by ripping up the entire sandal, the insole comes out, then I guess they do have removable insoles. But they don't! I chose this product especially since it was advertised as having a removable insole, as I wear orthotics.

I received them Thursday put them on early Friday morning and wore them until almost midnight. Saturday I wore them from early morning until mid afternoon. Today I put them on at 6 AM and won't have them off until some time late tonight. I traveled this weekend and have walked airport concourses up and down steps and across parking lots. My feet love them and so do I.
