These shoes are beautiful. They look very slim with a low profile. I think you can easily wear them with slim jeans and capris and even with skirts (with tights). They fit perfectly the first time I put them on. Because they are Naot, they are wider than what a medium would be and that is perfect for me. I have a protruding bone from my big toe and there is no problem with this shoe.

I ordered these in black with some doubt but felt confident about returning them due to Zappos easy policy. I have several pairs of Naots but none were like this style. At first I wasn\'t sure if they would work for me. I added one cork insert (provided) and then a second into the right shoe and after wearing them around the house for a bit they suddenly became just right. They do require a brief break-in time as do all shoes with cork insert footbeds. I am a bit concerned about small scuff marks on the sides of the sole which come up gray in color. But having spent an entire day walking around NYC in them I have to recommend them for comfort. They are slightly odd looking (in an interesting way) but happy feet override that issue.

Very comfortable arch, plenty of toe room, but unfortunately they hit my ankle bone and I had to send them back. Wish they had worked.

These shoes are so cute & look great but they just didn't fit. Unfortunately, the size 38 are equivalent to a precise size 7 and the size 39 are a true size 8. I wear a size 7.5 so neither size fit. Even if these shoes came in half sizes, I think I would have still had a problem with the back rubbing on my ankle because they come up very high in the back.

Very cute shoe with a comfy footbed. I ordered my usual size 9, but these were a full size too small so I had to send them back.

This is one of the few "flats" on the market with actual support, including adequate arch support. I'm 5'8" and wear a size 8 (39) shoe, and in a Wide if I can find it. This shoe didn't disappoint. It's really cute, wide enough for wide feet, but not too wide. It has enough arch support to walk a few miles, unlike most other flats. I wear a size 39 in this shoe. I liked this shoe so much that I also bought in the brown color.

I swear by the Naot name. Find most of their shoes are outstanding in fit and comfort. Well worth the money. Have many pairs for many years. Wear extremely well.

I bought this shoe for my wife because Naot shoes are her favorite. The shoes arrived amazingly fast after I ordered them. Initially they were a little stiff around the heel but the just needed to "break in". She especially likes this pair because she can wear them with most outfits and they have a very feminine look for a shoe that is all-day comfortable. They are a little pricey but Naots are what the lady wants!

Since I have problem feet (plantar fasciitis) I feel like I miss out on the cute shoes - like ballet flats. Well, with the Architect, those days are over! I find I am able to be on my feet for quite a long time with these shoes, and my feet are not screaming like they would be with a normal ballet flat. These are very cute, and the patent accents ratchet up the style quotient. Thank you Naot - and thank you Zappos for the great service!

I love these shoes, I bought them in 3 different colors. I have a very high arch and need a a shoe that also allows a bit of height in the toe. These are perfect, easily dressed up or down. Great for work.

I usually wear a 7; I couldn't get my foot into the 37 of this shoe. The 38 felt really wide at the bottom of the heel (it bows out and I could push it in at least 1/4" on each side) but the front was so low the top of my foot felt cramped.

Love these shoes! Have both the brown and black pairs. Great with pants and super comfortable right out of the box.

Beautiful shoe, insole so comfortable, just too short. I usually wear size 39 and so ordered but Naot 39 says US size 8, not the usual 8 1/2. Must sadly return.

I covet this shoe but I wear an 8 1/2 US size. That normally translates to size 39, but it was too short by just a little. I think size 9 would be too big.

These were too small. I thought about getting a larger pair until my husband said it looked like I had put electrician's tape across the top of the shoe. Hmmm, nope, they're just going back.

Usually Naot's are a no-brainer for me. They are pricey, but the fit and construction is worth it for my problem feet (low arches, Plantar fasciitis). This shoe is my first Naot to go back. The back of the shoe was too high on me and felt uncomfortable. Zappos as usual, did an excellent job with overnight shipping.

These shoes gapped on the sides no matter what inserts I used. They fit fine in the toe box and seemed comfortable, but I had to return them.
