It's almost like not wearing shoes at all!
FYI, if you order these TOO big, they will fall off your feet and won't do you any good. At first I thought mine were too small (I wear a 10 and ordered the 10), but your feet don't move in these as much as they do in regular shoes, plus they will stretch out, so keep that in mind when you try them on. You don't need a half-inch worth of space in front of your toe; they fit more like gloves than shoes. As far as comfort, I love these shoes-- err, sandals. Every time I wear a shoe with too much support, my feet kill me. I barely have any pain with these, unless I'm walking on marble or very hard surfaces. I wish the soles were a little less slippery, but other than that, I don't have any complaints. If you're worried about arch support, your feet will make their own when they aren't coddled by over-supported shoes. I feel much more natural walking in these than in my other shoes. I learned very quickly to stop slamming down on my heel when I walked -- a bad habit picked up from wearing cushy shoes all my life. I also like the look of these, too; very low-key, with a smidge of color. | |

I loved my first pair of Sanuks, the Donna, so decided to go for the Laurel Chill for winter since it has a soft fuzzy lining. Just like the first pair, they excel in comfort and style plus the lining keeps your feet warm when outside walking in the cold - no socks required! They are so easy to slip on and off that they do feel like a comfortable slipper. I was initially worried that they might look like a slipper and that people would stare but on the contrary, they don\'t. They just look different than any other shoe out there which I like. I also realized that the light color was a plus for my fall and winter wardrobe since it helped lighten my dark clothes. The only word of warning to first time Sanuk buyers is that your feet can sweat a little in these shoes when indoors but if you are outside walking in the fall or winter, it\'s not a problem. I also noticed that the Laurel Chill Sanuks are a little bigger than the Donna Sanuks that I already have despite being the same size (I\'m a 7.5/8 and I ordered the 8\'s). I\'m not sure if Sanuk provided a little extra room because of the fuzzy lining but based on this experience, I\'d probably order one size down if I bought another pair of Laurel Chills. | |

Great casual shoe for my husband. Second style by Sanuk that he's tried. They run a size smaller, though. Normally, he wears an 11 and I exchanged for a 12. | |

Cute heeled flop. I wear at least a size 11 and the extra length makes the weight of the platform a little heavy; straps wear on the top of the foot after long bouts of walking. I also have to be careful walking too fast or horsing around in them because my heel can slip off the side, only one of the downsides of having long feet! But they are great when you want a dressier flop; especially cute with sundresses. | |

Great shoes! Super comfy. I travel/fly every week and these are great travel shoes. The only drawback is I wish they made the shoe in half sizes. If you wear an 8.5 buy size 9, the 8 will be too small. | |

These are great shoes! The soles are soft and \'cushy\', like walking in grass. They run small and only come in whole sizes. I had to get a size 10, that never happened before. | |

These shoes are like walking on air, so much so that they should take away the name from that skateboard company. You take them out of the box and put them on your feet, then you instantly smile. They are great to wear around the house or somewhere you need to be chill. I wear them to teach high school and the kids love my slipper shoes. Slightly worried about the wear and tear down the road. | |

I ordered these slippers because they look amazing. I love my Sanuk sandals and I wanted a pair of slip-ons for the house. I ordered a size 8 for my size 7-7.5 foot and they were snug at first, but since the "fluff" has matted down, they fit almost a bit loose. Exactly what I wanted though. Easy on, easy off. These slippers are very well made, unlike some of the complaints I have read. I am very pleased with my purchase. | |

In most other shoes I wear a size 8.5, and I ordered these in size 8, since everyone says they loosen up as you were them. They felt AMAZING, but oddly, they were too big! I've exchanged them for a size 7 pair, and I'm desperately hoping they won't be too small because if they are, I won't have time to send them back before I leave for vacation (I really want to wear these!). I would have rated these a 5, except for the size issue. Why can't Sanuk just use standard sizing? Zappos customer service has been FANTASTIC, and they're sending the size 7's with overnight shipping, at no extra charge, so I'll have them before I leave. | |

The Sanuk's Sidewalk Surfers Grandma's Couch are really cool! They feel like slippers and are very comfortable to walk and lounge around in. The design texture looks and feels just like an old fashioned brocade sofa fabric. They're easy to put on, just slip on, and the bottom sole has the raised "Sanuk" happy face logo that alternates from one row to the other, so it provides pretty decent grip and traction. This is my first pair of "sidewalk surfers" and I hope they last. I don't think I'll wear these in the rain or out running around a track, since they seem like they would fall apart, but I'm not sure. That's why I deducted one-star from "overall." As for sizing, I normally wear a 9.5-10 and I bought these in 10s and they fit perfectly with just a tiny amount of space in front of my toes. So if you like your shoes a little looser, then size up 1/2. I get compliments on them everywhere I go and my friends love them. And Zappos is the best! | |

Very comfortable, a little pricey for what it takes to make them. I\'m an 8.5 shoe size and the 9 fits well. You can\'t wear them without socks until you break them in due to the overlapping fabric and stitching inside. They are light as a feather. I would buy them again. | |

Great casual summer shoe, not. I bought these because I loved my other Sanuks so much. I thought I could wear these when casual dress shoes were required and feel like I had flip flops on. (That's how the other Sanuks fit.) These were super thin soled and made my feet hurt after a few hours. Get a different pair. | |
