Ok these shoes are perfectly cute! I always wear the big clunker Docs and these are just as comfortable. I got my usual size and these were a tad big so all I did was buy those cushions from the drugstore and even better! Will buy these again! Lots of compliments and FAST delivery. I like these boots. They are wider than I imagined. I normally wear a 7-8 in women’s shoes. I ordered 8 with these and I think it is a good fit. There is room in there to add a gel insole which I would suggest for arch support. Overall the comfort is great and the aesthetis magnificent. | |

Instantly comfortable, I wore these boots through a brutal Chicago winter, and they are the best I’ve ever owned by miles. Tough as nails, yet still look great to go out to dinner. I was worried at first about it being a pain to pull them on and off. Mine slide on and off like slippers, and I’ve got size 13 feet. | |

My son had a pair of these Dr. Martens for 10 years, finally wearing them out.I saw these on Zappos and ordered immediately, thinking if they last that long this time, they MUST be great. As always, They fit the same as the first pair with no break in period. Nice sandals for the men in your life, but beware, they DON'T wear out!

I had to order these shoes as my last pair were bought when I was pregnant with my son (he'll be 15 this year, so you can imagine!) and I had to put them to rest. I can't count how many pair of Doc Martens I've owned since the early 80's and when I saw these they had to join my collection. They're durable, affordable, comfortable (well, I did have to work them in first) and most importantly, FASHIONABLE. They were a little uncomfortable for the first 3 weeks of use while the boot was getting broken-in (mostly in the toe area), but most of my comfort issues have subsided and now it’s back to feeling the way a Doc Marten should feel. I’ve been wearing Docs since high school and my last pair gave me 8 years of service so I’m certain these new ones will provide the same level (if not more) of service. So far I’m very happy and recommend them to anyone who is a Doc Marten fan or just needs a really durable boot. | |

Motor Cycle Boots -
The service from Zappos was fantastic. As a first time customer, I received overnight shipping as standard. The boots are very comfortable for walking although they are cut somewhat larger than expected. They are easy to put on because of the side zipper, but I would have preferred a slightly stiffer boot shaft. I have worn them for almost three months now and use them exclusively as my motorcycle boot. I am still very happy with them. | |

Dr. Martens are the only shoe I will buy for work, I've had many over the years. These are among the most comfortable I've had. They didn't require much break in and I found them to not need an additional arch support which I usually get for Doc's. The only thing is that they really stretched after a few days. I wish I would have gotten a size smaller now. Not a huge deal...just wish they came in 1/2 sizes too. | |

One of the best shoes ever made.
I had owned the current 1461 model and liked it so much I wear it at work and at home all the time. Much more then any other shoe. Like everyone who has given these a chance after they've bought them, it takes a short period of time to work them in and soften up the leather. You will get a little heel burn if you wear them too much right away. But, once they've worn in they seem like they mold to your feet to create your own personal shoe. Now getting to this model, the vintage 1461. I received the shoes yesterday after I got off work and noticed that they are a little bit narrower then my other ones, which I liked a lot. I do think they should of stuck to that shape with their current model then to change it. Always thought they were a little bit clunky/chunky. Really other than that I didn't notice too much difference other then the quality seemed a bit better I guess. However, when I tried them on and walked around in my house I noticed a really annoying squeak within the right shoe. Something I didn't want to settle with for the price. I decided to call Zappos customer service and asked to exchange them with a different pair. The girl on the other end was extremely nice and helpful and sent out another pair on the spot with next day shipping. When I went home for lunch today I was flabbergasted to see that the new pair was at the door. Amazing service and speed!!! Thanks Zappos a lot and hopefully I won't get that same defect in this pair. Overall with the shoes, I would say if your picky and want a narrower and better made 1461 go with these, if your not too picky go with the 1461 regulars. Both are very high quality foot wear and will stand the test of time.

Wow, what comfort! I wear my Chukkas at work where I am constantly on my feet and must wear steel toes. They felt great from the second I put them on. No breaking in was required. I'm a 45 year old woman and I wasn't really worried about the style but I have gotten quite a few compliments. A lot of people complain about steel toe boots being uncomfortable--but they usually buy the cheapest ones they can find. These Chukkas are well worth the price, especially with free shipping. | |

I found these boots to be comfortable right out of the box. Offered in medium width only, they have roomy toe boxes and the UK size 9 fit my size 10 2E feet very well. While they certainly have the look of an engineer type motorcycle boot, I can't recommend them for serious bike boot replacement. The sole has good traction, but the leather is way too soft and thin for any real protection. But, overall, I like this boot. And one thing about Zappos - how do you guys do it. I have ordered several pairs of shoes, boots, sandals, over the years, and have always gotten overnight delivery - and free! Great company, great service. Keep up the good work. | |

The shoes are really comfortable and durable. I choose this style boot for that simple reason. I do a lot of walking for work and tend to be standing for long periods of time. I dress business casual and these fit the bill just fine with khakis and everyday jeans. Hope this helped. | |

I love these shoes. I've been wearing them for several months now. They were a little stiff at first but they quickly loosened up and are now very easy to take on and off. I like having a shoe I can just slip on with no socks. I find them to be very comfortable on daily basis. I never thought Dr. Martens made work shoes this comfortable. I've had Dr. Martens sandals that lasted me over 10 years & it gets better & better over time. The Midi Non-Steel, hopefully, will do the same. The non-slip & oil resistant definitely help tremendously. It's been almost 2 months now & the shoes feel like they're molding my feet already. I originally purchased Klogs, but they were extremely uncomfortable. A size 5 felt like a size 6. Zappos offers such a wonderful & convenient service. I returned the Klogs (without any shipping fee), purchased Dr. Martens on Saturday, & received my brand new shoes on Tuesday. What a service! | |

Good looking, comfortable sandal. I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for over a year and my job requires me to be on my feet most of the day. I change into these shoes as soon as I get to work (from my motorcycle boots) and stay mostly pain-free all day. These sandals appear to be well made and I expect them to last awhile.
