I love these sneakers,and always get compliments on them! I have a hard time finding this type of shoe that fits, as I have a really high instep and arch, and thesef fit great. The quality of the canvas and rubber is excellent. I think it\'s a shame they have to be $45, but Zappo\'s price was the best around, so what are you going to do? And of course, Zappos shipping and customer service was fabulous! Every woman should have a pair of red high tops in her closet, even if she\'s 50 like me! | |

I wear a size 37 and these fit perfectly. The color looks great with denim and khakis. I have a pink pair that are close to being retired. I chose this color for my new shoes since my 3 year son has a matching pair. | |

I bought pink Converse Hi-Tops to give to our granddaughter for her 14th birthday. She was thrilled with them and I was thrilled with Zappos' prompt service.I will always turn to Zappos for shoes and I will look at buying other items from Zappos in the future.

I am currently on a drilling rig offshore Saudi Arabia, I have not seen the converse steel toe shoes yet, although I can tell you that Nautilus and the Works by Red Wing are both excellent work shoes; they are very comfortable and easy to get on and off, only problem with these shoes is you can't wade very deep mud or water. That's why I have two pair, three now. I let one dry out and wear the others. You can't beat these shoes for working on a steel, muddy, greasy, slippery deck. Very tough and good traction, I'll order some more as soon as I can wear these out. Thanks. | |

These are the most comfortable steel toe shoes I have ever worn. I am on my feet 10 hours a day on concrete flooring & at the end of the day, I do not feel like I'm lugging around 5 lbs. of lead on each foot. The soles of these shoes have great traction, too. I use a soft brush to keep these looking good. I love the navy color because they don't show dirt as easily. The sizing & width are true and after about a week, they are comfortably broken in. | |

These sneakers are very cool. They came with two sets of laces, white and red. After some experimentation, I found I like wearing them with the red laces best. I like that they are African canvas, and that some of the proceeds of the sale goes to fight AIDS and malaria, under the (product) red program. I am a woman who normally wears a size 9. As far as the fit on the Jack Purcell Converse: the men's 7 is the right length, but width is a little snug. The men's 7.5 is the right width, but a little long. I have several other pairs, some in 7 and some in 7.5. I wear thinner socks with the 7s, and it's all good. | |

Jack Purcell, leather are great. True to size. I\'m a 10.5 and at first ordered a 10 thinking the sizing is the same as the chucks. 10.5 works better. zappos sent replacement pair the next day before the original pair went back. excellent service. and fast. | |

The product I bought was for my granddaughter Sarah. She has these in all colors She would sleep in these if she were able to. Do they come in slippers? Shopping at Zappos.com is a breath of fresh air. Not only do they have an enormous selection of about anything you could ever need, on many occasions they offer free shipping. My best reason for shopping Zappos is they will ship next day and not even charge you extra. Especially now for the holidays always something comes up at the last minute, I'll go straight to Zappos.com and I know I'll get it next day.What company offers you this much without charging you extra? No company that I know of and I have done a lot of shopping online. | |

So, other people have mentioned the heel problem. I've had these shoes for 3+ months now, and they still give me blisters. I am continuing to try to break them in, but they tear off any band aid I wear except really large ones, and they either cut my heel or give me a blister no matter what. I love the shoes in all other regards, but beware (and I don't think the shoe is too small, it is just the back edge is stiff and sharp). I think I'm going to try taking a nail file to it next. | |

My niece is 6 ft tall, twelve years old, and lives in the middle of nowhere, 40 miles to the closest Walmart. She told me she couldn't get new shoes for school because there wasn't anything in a size 11 in the whole county. I asked her what she would wear if she could have anything. Then I went on to Zappos and bought them. They were reasonably priced; she likes the fit and style. They arrived less than a week after I ordered them. I was very pleased, and she was thrilled. This boot is one of the better ones out there. I have been wearing it everyday for the last couple of weeks, no complaints. It has a composite toe, waterproof, EH rated, puncture resistant. The only thing I would change would be to make the footbed a little more cushioned, and lower the top lace. The support is perfect for me, it is just not very soft. The top lace may or may not cause issues. I personally don't use the top lace because it wants to cut into my ankle. The jobsite is a muddy mess, but the tread seems to find something to grab onto to keep you going where you want to go. | |

I was stoked to have found black leather Chucks. I\'m sure, like always, they will look better with wear and tear (and the tip and laces won\'t be so white). You can\'t really tell they are leather yet but the cracks and wrinkles should be showing soon. I always add support soles for Chucks...they have no arch support whatsoever. It\'s amazing they were originally made for basketball.\r\n\r\nOf course always buy a size or half size smaller. Chucks RUN BIG! | |

AC/DC Shoes are awesome. I recently purchased the Black AC/DC Print shoe and love it, a totally cool shoe. Besides the usual quality, comfort and icon status for which Converse is known, the AC/DC shoes are, in a real sense, a work of art all their own. They also make a great display! As Converse adds to the AC/DC shoe line, I'm tempted to add to my collection. This is definitely one of the better specialty shoe "projects" that Converse has taken on. Again, very cool. As Converse shoes go, I find that, while I normally wear a size 12, I typically take a size 11 in Converse for a comparable fit. | |

This was my first pair of Converse All Stars shoes and I am very pleased with the way they look. The only drawback I saw with this pair was during the first week or two of wearing them. I found that the toe box is a bit narrower than I was expecting and the inside of the shoes rubbed on my pinky toes pretty badly. I got blisters on both toes! I had to use patches of moleskin to prevent further chafing. I\'m not sure if it was the 2 weeks of wearing constantly or my loosening up the laces in the toe area, but they\'re more comfortable now and I don\'t get any chafing. My suggestion is to loosen the laces when you get them if you have a wide foot. | |

Got these a few weeks ago. They fit fine and look nice. They are quite comfortable for lounging, standing or walking. Don't run in them without an insole. The outside scuffs kind of easily, but I expected that. I forget there is a steel toe in there sometimes. | |

Great suggestion on the sizing, Zappos! I wear men\'s 11.5, but bought 11\'s, and they fit perfectly. Heard from a friend that arch support is non-existent, but I\'ve found that if you go into it expecting them to feel like sandals, you won\'t be disappointed. Definitely going to be buying another pair or two in the future. | |
