I was pleasantly surprised when I received these and tried them on. They are so cushy! Definitely a different feel from classic Converse and I would say an improvement. The only thing I wish these shoes had was a little more embellishment. They don't have the classic black line along the bottom or the contrast stitching. They are still cute, but I think the lack of detail makes them look a little more generic. There isn't any real visible detail to identify them as Converse so they could be any old brand. Nonetheless, I still will be wearing them quite often and I'm sure my nice, comfy feet will thank me! | |

One word to describe the shoes: Awesome! They do run big so don't get the 1/2 size if you normally do or go a 1/2 size down. No arch support or cushion so if you have sensitive feet, you'll need to buy your own cushion. I have worn this shoe with and with socks and this shoe has never caused any heel discomfort. | |

Probably my 20th pair of Jack Purcell Converse so I think I can speak to just about every style. Was very happy to see a red pair and was even happier about the cause it represents. So this was a no brainer, even though they were more than standard JP's. However, the quality is not the same. One way you can tell is the laces. It's a very cheap nylon. The boot is not the best quality as well. Very thin canvas that tends to lose its shape when tightened. Compare this to another brand and you can tell the difference. It's still a great shoe and I am very happy with my purchase. Just be aware not all JP's are the same. | |

I've been wearing Converse since I was a kid & I love them! They're super sturdy & very comfortable. I tend to run a half size smaller in these than other shoes, so you might keep that in mind. | |

Well, I have purchased many pairs of these, they're really cool! The fit is perfect. I always "fray" the edges with a knife for an even "cooler" look, but that's just me. I can also tell you that I wash mine, and they come out great. You can't go wrong with these shoes! Go Zappos! | |

These shoes are not true to size for women! I wear a size 7 in shoes and got a size 6 in these and they fit perfect! I knew this because i own edhardy slip ons an they are all in size 6 that i have! Keep that in mind so you wont be returning them back and forth! | |

This is a good shoe. I purchased a grey pair. One thing that I didn't realize is that the shoe comes with both grey and black laces. I think the black look much better in them, but that's just me. One word of caution: because of the nature of the laces this shoe fits a bit more snug than most other pairs of Chucks that I own. Not that big of a deal and I think they are loosening a bit. | |

I've been wearing Chuck Taylor All-Star high tops since I first started listening to the Ramones in '79. There has been a definite drop in quality over the years, and my last few pairs have lasted barely a couple of months. Really cheap crap, so I was very pleased to find these "work shoe" versions. More expensive, but much better quality, and more comfortable, but I wish they'd come with white lowers like the original Chucks. | |

My daughter, who is 11, wanted these tennis shoes, but all the local stores only carried whole sizes when what she really needed was a half size. We ordered the shoes expecting a 2-3 day wait and especially since I ordered in the evening, but to our pleasant surprise they were at our house the next day. A Next-Day upgrade was applied and she was wearing her new shoes to school right away. She loves them and wears them almost every day. | |

I love these sneakers,and always get compliments on them! I have a hard time finding this type of shoe that fits, as I have a really high instep and arch, and thesef fit great. The quality of the canvas and rubber is excellent. I think it\'s a shame they have to be $45, but Zappo\'s price was the best around, so what are you going to do? And of course, Zappos shipping and customer service was fabulous! Every woman should have a pair of red high tops in her closet, even if she\'s 50 like me! | |
