Great boot, even for busy moms!
Perfect winter boot in a classic style. I'm always running around with my 10 month old (literally) and these are so comfortable, with great arch support and warmth. The heel is the perfect height (a little heel actually helps your back) and the platform makes running a breeze. I have small calves too and these fit perfectly!

I bought this boot in black suede right before I went to Montreal in January, no breaking in was required. These were comfortable, had good traction, looked sharp, and repelled the cold and slush. Not La Canadienne's most adventuresome style, but solid, solid, solid. They are close fitting on my average ankles and calves. Can be worn with casual skirts.

Great everyday boot -
I love this brand. I have two pair of boots by them and wear both all the time. Very comfortable, narrow boot. Simple and classic.

Not for Wide Calves -
I bought this boot in the black leather but I could not zip them up all the way! I would only give the look 3 stars- I didn't like the quality of the leather as the leather was not thick or firm. If your calves are more of an average size, then these would work for you. I would, however, recommend the black suede for these, as I bought La Canadienne Juliana in the black suede and I thought the suede had a nicer look than the Tia's leather version. If you do have wide calves, try the Juliana as I was able to zip those ones up. Both styles have comfortable soles. Happy shopping!

Great Travel Boot -
I took these to Zurich and was comfortable the entire time. Make sure you wear socks that stay above the top. The inner flap did rub a blister on my calf. The rest of the boot was comfortable.

Comfortable, Warm, and Good Looking -
These boots are great for everyday and for more dressy wear in the winter. Pants may be tucked into them, or they may be worn with a boot cut pant over them. They are not too high in height or heel.

Everything was right in this boot, except for the toe - I hate pointy toes, and these are just too narrow and pointy. Had to go with a suede boot instead. Overall, these are great looking and comfortable boots, though, if you don't mind the narrow-looking toes.

Fabulous Boots! Right out of the box!
For months, I'd been scouring the Internet, department stores and boutiques for those "dream" boots that look stylishly hip and have the traction and waterproofness to make it through an icy, snowy winter. So, by chance I came across La Canadienne from a review on this web site, and though you never know who's writing the reviews (like this one) I took a chance and got the suede instead of leather. I didn't have a chance to wear them before a trip, and they ended up being the only shoes I wore (a first, since I usually overpack when it comes to shoes). They truly were totally comfortable right out of the box, and I'm a size 9M (emphasis on the M), and they went with everything I wore from a dingy pair of jeans to dressy gabardine. I'm thinking of getting another pair, cause when you find something that groovy you want to stock up on it. Hope you agree.

The perfect rain boot!
I've been looking for a comfortable AND stylish rain boot for the longest time, and this is it. The boot is extremely comfortable, warm but not uncomfortably hot, and appears to be very well made.

My calves are thin and so are my ankles. I hate boots that wind up looking baggy and these are great for me!! Completely comfortable - I have worn them all day outside and they have kept my feet very warm. I really like these boots!

Stylish, practical boot--especially for a mom -
Love this boot. I love Camper and thought I would get a Camper boot this season--but no styles were perfect. I wanted a comfortable wedge heel boot that would fit my calves--Tia fit the bill. I like that La Canadienne boots are waterproof and made in Canada. This is my first pair but not my last

I got this because I was looking for a decent-looking, winter boot. It's a very classic-style boot. Not quite as hip as I had hoped, but it's warm, practical, and goes with everything. I only wish that the toe was a little more square-ish. (The Carina model is a little more square-ish, but didn't come in my size...)

These boots are very fashionable. I have wide feet and they are not only very comfortable but make my size 9's look small. They are great for walking right out of the box. The upper shaft is a little wide at the top, as mentioned in other reviews. But it is not uncomfortable or even noticeable. I think they are a perfect height for skirts, both short and long.

More Than Happy-
I was apprehensive about how stylish AND comfortable these boots would be when they arrived.
I just received them today and wore them around the house for a half an hour. They are so comfortable! They make my leg, ankle, and foot look sleek and stylish. (CON: If you're too chunky in the ankles, these boots are not for you).
I can't wait until I wear them to work tomorrow- in the snow! I would definitely purchase another Le Canadienne shoe (I'm looking to see what else I can buy right now). The workmanship on these boots is impressive. I'm very happy that I bought them and would recommend them to all (except for overweight-ankle people).

The boots are so comfortable and stylish. I only wish the shaft of the boot was a little taller, just below my knees about 15 inches instead of 13 inches. I don't know why they don't make them taller because they would look better with skirts. My calves are on the small side and these boots are not too wide but can fit average calves. I ordered the 9 but I really need an 8.5 wide so my heavy socks would fit. Overall, these are great boots.

The Perfect Boot -
I bought this boot in black leather and suede because I couldn't decide which I liked best. Well, this boot is so great, I am keeping both pairs. The styling is very sleek and the wedge is very comfortable. The leather and finishing on this boot is just exceptional. It remains to be seen just how waterproof these are. I will probably wear them on the days after a snow when the streets are clear but slick and on cold days when I just want my legs covered. Either way, they are a sharp looking boot to go to and from work, which is what I was looking for.

Versatile Boots -
I shopped and shopped to find a boot that would meet all of my needs. I needed something for wet weather, something that was comfortable, warm, would fit under jeans, but still look great with a skirt and these are perfect! I am 6 months pregnant and had to put all of my cute high heel boots up for the winter. These allow me to still feel stylish without my feet and back suffering. The most comfortable boots I've ever owned! I do wish they had come in half sizes as I'm a 9 1/2 and ordered a 10. But with socks and inserts, they fit like a glove. I have thin calves and they don't leave me much play room which I like, but someone with thicker calves may have a bit more of a problem, although there is room for stretching. I know some of the other La Cannadienne boots have a problem with the sole running down quickly, but these soles are much thicker and made of a harder material. If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable winter boot, look no further!

very happy with La Canadienne's Tia -
This is a remarkably warm and comfortable shoe. I wouldn't use it as a snowboot (although it is supposed to be waterproof), but it's terrific for very cold winter days, and it looks surprising sleek and fashionable for a boot with a wedge heel.
