Very comfortable boots. They are padded around the ankle which feels nice. I ordered the burgundy and they are pretty, but in looking at the black I think I may have liked it better with the white stitching. I would prefer if they had a wedge instead of the little heel which feels like it could roll over. For such a comfy boot, I don't want to have to worry that my ankle could twist. The material of the sole is very nice and bouncy. These do bend when you walk, unlike a Dansko which rolls along.

In typical Zappos fashion, these boots were on my feet in less than 24 hours! These are interesting ankle boots, not really fashion forward, but certainly well made. They would be great to do lots of walking and travel in. I think they run a little small, so if you like a little wiggle room, go bigger. Overall, who needs the platform ouchy boots when you can have a pair of these comfy babies?

Positively cute shoes -
Comfortable and looks great! I had to return them because ankle boots don't do much for my bow legs. But if you have nice shapely legs these booties are worth a look.

These are a great pair of everyday ankle boots that fit true to size. The construction and leather are super and they are very comfortable. The crepe sole is also another nice bonus if you, like me, don't like noisy slippery heels. I'm thinking of buying the knee highs now!

I bought a pair of gray Pikolinos last fall and loved them! So I decided to search for another color this year and found these. They fit true to size and the color is a lovely shade of rose burgundy. These boots are great since they are not high but give enough height to be dressy and comfortable while wearing them day and night...

This one sadly runs small. I wear a real, true size 12, and only one other time have I ever returned a 12 to Zappos for being too small (it was a Lassen shoe). So it seems that Pikolinos, or at least this model, has to go on the list of "not a real 12," too. Which is a shame as these boots are darling. But my toes jammed up against the front of the shoe and just plain did not fit in the shoe.
