These are awesome. Super light and very soft fitting. They feel great and look really great. I had to cut off the little pull tabs on the back because they made my slacks bunch up at the ankles, but the tabs cut off cleanly and no one would ever know they were there in the first place.\r\n\r\nOne warning though! The soles are NOT WATERPROOF - walk in enough puddles and your socks will get a little bit damp. This is the pay off for hand-crafted natural materials. ;)\r\n\r\nI bought these because I thought they were a little more dressy than a casual shoe, but not pretentious and "designy" looking. Gave them 4 stars because I paid $165 and I think they could be closer to $125, honestly.

Really nice, well made shoes. The sizing is a little off. They say USA 11.5-12, but really they run a little big. I would say they are more of a 12.5 USA size.

I was attracted to this shoe on an impulse of pure aesthetic. I also made the assumption, given the country of origin that it would be extremely well crafted and comfortable. The craftsmanship is, in-fact, impeccable. The upper, vamp and toe box are all very comfortable. But I confess a less enthusiastic opinion of the foot bed's support and comfort. These elements are critical to me, given that the soles of my feet are very sensitive. I nonetheless rated this shoe at four stars, factoring my unique condition. The addition of a cushioned insole resolved my particular problem; so much so, I purchased this shoe in black as well as the tan. One cautionary note: the sizing of these shoes are extremely generous. They are a full size to a size and a half larger than what is typical.

I bought the Pikolinos Fuencarral shoes from Zappos and have been wearing them a bit. I have to say that these shoes are now my favorite. Man, they are made well. Looking at the soles, you would think that it would be uncomfortable because of the odd rubber placement, but it's like a moccasin with a proper sole. It feels right on. I'm not some wafer thin hippie, either. I'm a big boy and these shoes can keep up. And dude, Zappos standard shipping is insane. It took 12 hours to arrive from the point of order? Who's even heard of that? They could solve world hunger with their shipping. I think I love them. Shut up! I do. It's sad. Moving on. One caveat is the shoe size. I'm not a size X.5 foot so I had to go a size higher. It worked out well because I have a wide foot, and the extra .5 inch helped with the stretch. I can't give a more thorough review at this time, because I'd be lying. I'll check back in 6 months and we'll see how they hold up.
