I stand on my feet all day as a hairstylist which makes finding comfortable shoes a huge challenge. All the Clarks I have purchased have been extremely comfortable and consistent in their sizing. According to the foot measuring device I wear an 8W. This is one of the first brands I actually can wear an 8W and they fit perfectly. I usually get an 8 1/2 W. If your looking for comfort these are great! Zappo's is the best place to buy shoes on-line or otherwise!

I love these shoes: quiet, dressy enough for open house and church, and comfortable enough for every day in a classroom. At first they were a little snug for a wide width, but they stretched a little and are great now.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I love Clarks shoes. They are usually perfect for a wide foot. They last a long time too. I have several styles and love them all. New Balance has great shoes for teachers who can wear tennis shoes.

 |  | Didn’t know where to send a note to the full staff so I’m putting it here. I haven’t shopped Zappos for a few years (how many Birkies can one gal wear at a time)! I’ve hunted and hunted for boots. Not much call for tall boots in the Phoenix area, but the styles changed this year so I wanted to get with it. I hate going to stores so I tried the internet, thought I found gold, but ended up returning because they were too loose or too tall or too short. The light bulb went off and I came back to Zappos and they had calf and height measurements listed - what a brilliant idea!!! I found black suede and grey leather and I had them at my front door a day later! How much better could it get: both pairs fit!!! Please post this for all employees so they can know their efforts are very much appreciated... you all could teach the rest of the corporate world how it should be done.
