I was so disappointed when these arrived. They are a gorgeous color, the leather is very soft and lovely, and the soles feel wonderful, but the criss-cross straps are way too wide across the ball of the foot and the shoes are very short--my toes looked like they were about to fall off the end of the shoe. I don't think there would be any way to adjust the shoes to tighten the fit, and I could not have ordered a smaller size. Very disappointing, especially since I have owned a pair of Cordani (the Linea Blue line) for a few years, which I absolutely adore. Oh well.

The style of this shoe is fabulous. Like the other reviewer said, the sizing is strange. I generally wear a 39 Euro (8.5 US). These run almost a size short and the toe is almost too pointed, but ordering up a size could be a problem with the straps being too loose. The ankle strap seems flimsy and does need a couple more holes punched in order to secure it on the foot. After doing that I think they will be alright. Very expensive--and not made in Italy, for such a price. I'm keeping them because I think they will be versatile with pants and skirts. Nice thick platform, not as heavy as a wedge, and with a bit more style.

These shoes are amazing, I can usually only wear Merrell shoes and flip flops but these are so well balanced they are incredibly comfortable and I can wear them all day. The sizing is a little strange, they did not have an 8 1/2 so I got a 9 which is fine...but I need to make an extra hole for the strap so my feet will stay in place. I recommend this brand of shoes for anyone with foot problems.
