The leather is great quality! The styling is classic, tailored and simply timeless, which I really like. The subtle pebbled leather texture adds a sporty look.The saddle stitching and hardware is top notch! I love the linen interior lining! I do wish that it had a cellphone pocket like my other purse. An odd design flaw is that the ends of the inside leather handle strap tend to curl under, making it uncomfortable to put over your shoulder, sometimes.

Love, love, love this bag! It\'s proportions are just right. I thought that it might be a bit small for me until I received it, and it is just perfect. I can get everything I need into it including my wallet, checkbook, compact, lipstick, cell phone, keys, sunglasses, and miscellaneous small essentials. The leather is of exceptional quality, and the color, I got the dark brown, is very rich. I am tall, 5\'8", and was able to adjust the strap just enough to fit under the arm very comfortably. This is my first Dooney, but definitely not my last!

I love the quality of this bag! It's very classy and goes well with business attire. The bag is heavy and study. The weight of the bag can be a problem if you are having shoulder pain because as you add items it gets heavy. Overall, you can get all of the essentials in this bag. I would say if you are thinking of buying this bag, GO FOR IT!

I LOVE this bag! I got the White w/ Natural trim and it is the perfect color for summer. The size is great. It is big enough to fit all of my stuff, but not too big that it is hot to carry. The summer out here gets brutal and this bag has been easy to carry. Zappos shipped it quickly and I love that they offer free shipping. I would definately order another purse from here. I love Dooney and Bourke stuff and was glad to see such a selection here! Keep up the good work Zappos!!

After much obsessive comparing and contrasting of various Dooney bags, I settled on the small Lucy in Chestnut. I'm glad I did! It's beautifully made and elegant in an everyday way. It is small (I fit 3 lipsticks, gum, cell phone, penknife, sunglasses, wallet, reusable nylon shopping bag, & keys, with room to spare, but not much), but that's good for me, as I tend to pack to capacity and in large bags can never find what I need. You can see everything at once. A big plus. It smells like fish from the tanning process, but that will fade. The chestnut is a lovely, rich color (more like a dark pecan shade than chestnut, though). All in all, I couldn't be happier with this bag.

This is a very high-end bag. The leather is superior to the other DBs I've bought, and those leathers are nice to begin with. I bought the cream/natural bag for summer wear. It is fabulous. The size, as other reviews have said, is just right. I fit a large wallet, sunglass case, and eyeglass case in this bag. The leather smells delicious. I swear I catch people looking at this bag! My mom bought a DB all weather leather drawstring in cream/natural for less money, but the leather on this bag is many steps up and she is wishing she bought this one.

I love this handbag. In fact I have 3 in different colors. I am small and it is really a good size- not too big. The leather is wonderful. Will purchase more of same bag.

Absolutely LOVE this bag -
I love this bag. It is my favorite bag of all the Dooney's. It is not too small, and not too big. It is perfect. It has enough pockets inside and out to carry two cells phones (iPhone and Blackberry), keys, wallet, coin purse, check book and calendar and still has room for extra items. And it is deep enough that I can fit my sunglasses in the bag.

The best bag ever -
This is exactly the bag I was always looking for. It has a VERY adjustable strap so it isn't too tight under my arm. The leather is gorgeous. The color (chestnut) was perfect. The side pockets are a great feature (although they are not quite as practical as I had hoped--the stiff leather means they do not accommodate as much stuff. The bag fits a lot of stuff but isn't too large overall.

My FAVORITE Bag!!!
I have a few other Dooney bags and this is now my Favorite. It's the perfect size. I'm very short, 5', and it looks not too big, but is very roomy for everything. The white leather and tan trim is perfect for everything in the summer. It’s great on the shoulder and still ok to have on your arm. Love It!!!

D&B Small Lucy Bag -
This bag is great - not too big and not too small. The leather is beautiful and it looks like it will become more attractive as it ages. I would highly recommend this as a great every day bag.

Fabulous -
I wanted to downsize from my Coach tote, and thought that this was really cute. To my surprise, I was able to fit everything in neatly. It is very comfortable to wear over my shoulder (very big deal since I have rheumatoid arthritis). By far my favorite bag ever!

Great purse!
This is the perfect purse for me. It's big enough to hold my wallet, checkbook, accessory bag, cell phone and there's still space left. I even packed 3 granola bars and a couple diapers the other day, and it all fit just fine. The leather is gorgeous. An all around beautiful bag that's big enough for the essentials and then some.
