I bought these in the 'luggage' color. They look fantastic and are fairly comfy for hard bottomed shoes. The big bonus for me is that it brings me up to 5'6"! What a glorious day for a short woman. Somebody bring me to a concert; I might be above the armpit height of the masses.

Love my Bettes!!! This taller sleeker Kork-ease is as comfy as the original height and width that I also own. I have these in luggage as a neutral shoe to wear with everything and with everything they go---great! Shorts, dresses, and especially in jeans which are usually too long for me (at 5'3"). These are by far the most comfortable high heels I have ever worn. I can wear them all day and go dancing in them too! I once wore them for 12 hours. They are a wee bit short for the size, but my long narrow feet feel well supported. Get yourself a nice pedicure and buy these shoes. You will not be disappointed.

I got the cork sided Bette before I got these. The cork veneer was peeling off one of the shoes after only 3 weeks of light wear. Zappos was awesome enough to exchange them for me. Can't say enough good things about their customer service. After one month, the suede sided Bette already seems much more durable. And they can be dressed up a lot easier than the cork ones which looked more casual. These look richer and more chic. These sandals are very comfortable considering their height. I wouldn't attempt a full day of walking in them, but it is a great shoe for going out, running errands, etc. Excellent, well crafted, timeless sandal. Worth the price. Would definitely recommend!

How do they do that???
These shoes are amazing...sky high AND comfortable...a hard combination to come by!! When I first put them on they were kinda stiff and I thought "these are going to need a break-in period..." but it actually took just a few minutes for them to mold to my feet...And the padded foot bed is wonderful! These shoes are expensive but soooo worth it...

I love these shoes and the Ava's I have 3 pairs and waiting for Ava to become available in my size in black. I can wear these shoes all day into the night. Most comfortable shoe I've wore in years. Perfect for my bell bottom jeans...I love the 70's and these bring back great memories. All my girlfriends want them too. I told them to go online and shop only Zappos. You'll love these shoes!!!

These shoes are to die for...I now own them in black and Buff. They are so unbelievably comfortable, that as a hairstylist, I could wear them all day, after the 2nd wearing. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect platform!
These are the best platform sandals out there! Trust me; I have searched for months to find the right ones. These are comfortable and cute! Hard to beat. I have pretty narrow feet and the straps at the front fit perfectly. I am so thrilled with them; I just ordered them in another color!

I love kork-ease. I have quite a few pairs. However, this is the first pair that was not comfy right from the start. The front bands are quite tight and I had to stretch them to fit me. The color is fabulous, though and I'm keeping them now that they are stretched.

Excellent shoes!! Bought these to look a bit more polished with shorts, jeans, skorts and they look amazing not to mention VERY comfy. Wore them right out of the box in Vegas and walked and walked with no issues. Highly recommended shoe.

Love the Bette by Kork-Ease. I bought the beautiful luggage color, just like the photo. This sandal is Very comfortable at 4 inches. I have a bad knee, but can walk comfortably in these sandals, and the straps hold the foot in place. These are super lightweight, stylish and retro. Love them! My parents wouldn't buy these for me when I was a teen, and I am so glad they are back!

I have to admit these shoes were not my first choice, but after trying a few other platforms and thanks to Zappos and their amazing return policy, I am so glad I ordered these shoes. They are much cuter in person and they are so comfy! The platform is nice and high and they feel very stable to walk in, no wobble at all. My only minor complaint is that they feel slightly narrow in the front but that will probably stretch in time. I love them!

I have wanted these since I was a little girl. These are the most comfortable (and I am on my feet for 5 hours straight) shoes. I am short, so they make me look taller without walking in stilletos. My husband loves them on me also.

I love these shoes!!
I got these today and have been wearing them around the house non-stop. Despite the fact that they are pretty high, they are very comfortable; I'm not feeling the straps rubbing at all. They have nice padding under the foot also. The ankle strap is a little loose, even with it all the way tightened I can still put these on and take them off without undoing the buckle, but they don't slip enough to actually fall off. And they look great! I wear an 8 and they make my feet look so small! I actually thought I had gotten the wrong size when I opened them, they looked so little. I would highly recommend this shoe, and of course I got them in record time because it's Zappos!

Wanted these to work!
I was so happy to find these sandals, thought they were the answer to my comfort plus height needs for the summer. Unfortunately, the straps were uncomfortable and the platforms a little too high. Have to send these back and try a different style.

These are wonderful!
I, too, am of an age who remembers when the Kork Ease was the rage. I never got a pair and now I have discovered the Bette! These will make your legs look awesome and they are extremely comfortable, too! I have a wider foot, but my regular size feels great. I have found that I can also go up a size if needed (really wanted the purple). You will not regret buying these shoes. I have tried the regular, original 3 inch and they are a bit tight in the forefoot, but the Bette is perfect! YAY!

High, but comfy -
My first thought when I put these on is that they were too high. All of my shoes are platforms, but about 1/2 inch shorter than these. Still I kept them and I'm glad I did. They are very comfortable and I didn't wobble in them, which was my initial concern. In fact, the 1/2 inch gave me some admirable height; I was at a Superbowl party when some people started talking about how they envy women who are tall. Suddenly, someone turns to me and says, “Well, you're tall!” (tee-hee) Let's just hope they don't see me running the track at the school next week!

 |  | Thank you, thank you! I'm thinking the Zappos customer service team must be made up of magical wizards, and I am getting spoiled! I called yesterday to exchange sneakers for a larger size, and late last night ordered some girly shoes, and this morning BOTH the sneakers and the shoes were at my door! I am stunned! Today I called a different place to order a specialty item (after checking Zappos site for something similar first, of course) and there is just no comparison whatsoever. Now I must wait at least a week for my order from this other place, and on top of that, pay ten bucks shipping! See, I am spoiled by Zappos spectacular customer service. Thank you so much!
