These Frye shoes are very cute and pretty comfortable; I bought both the brown/tan and the purple/lavender styles. There is a bit of padding on the ball of the foot and the wooden heel is comfortably low. These shoes are fine to do some light walking around the neighborhood. Unfortunately the first time I wore these shoes I found myself walking 3 miles in them up and down the hills of Echo Park and Silverlake one night and ended up with a blister on my middle toe, better to take the time to break in the leather a few times. I LOVE Frye shoes/boots, they are well worth the price for the comfort and quality of the stitching and leather.

Beautiful and comfortable -
I purchased these beautiful Frye sandals in the purple multi color and they are sooo pretty. Unlike the other reviewer, I found the leather to be super soft and comfortable right off the bat. I wore them for several hours and they just got better! I think I'm going to get the brown too; they are just too pretty to pass up. I highly recommend them! I also have narrow feet and the width on these was perfect for me. If you have wide feet these might not be good for you?

These shoes take a few wears to break in because the leather is stiff, but once worn in they're fantastic. So pretty and a perfect heel height! I have a big, narrow foot and usually non-narrow shoes fall right off my feet, but the strap helps these stay on.
